Since 2021, according to a resolution of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, the Day of Remembrance of Ukrainians who saved Jews during World War II has been celebrated annually on May 14. On this occasion, the Department of Social and Humanitarian Work of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs organized an excursion to Vinnytsia Holocaust Museum for higher education students.

May 16, 2023 marks the 70th anniversary of the birth of Doctor of Philosophy, Professor, Honored Worker of Education of Ukraine Oleksandr Volodymyrovych Tiahlo. He is one of the first Doctors of Sciences to come to the newly established Kharkiv University of Internal Affairs.
Today, on May 15, on the occasion of the 31st anniversary of the establishment of the communication units of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Forum "Communication and interaction of the bodies of the Ministry of Internal Affairs during the war" started in Kyiv. Within the framework of the 7th Global Road Safety Week, Mykola Koteliukh, a lecturer of the Department of Tactical and Special Physical Training of the Faculty № 3 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, and 1st year cadet Yevhen Ratoshniuk gave lectures on road safety at Agronomic, Bokhonytskyi and Medvezhevushkovskyi lyceums.
Activists of the cadet and student self-government of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs and Odesa State University of Internal Affairs held an online meeting. The main purpose of the event is to consolidate, support and friendly relations between young people studying at higher education institutions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

The School of Scientific Leadership of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs held introductory meetings with first-year cadets of the Faculty No. 1 and Faculty No. 4 of the University. During the meeting with the students of the Faculty No. 1, the Head of the School Vitalii Naida noted that the formation of the School of Scientific Leadership of the University began from this faculty, and the directions of work were determined, some of which were laid down by the students themselves.
Nataliia Kobylko, Associate Professor of the Department of Social and Humanitarian Disciplines of the Faculty No. 6, Candidate of Philological Sciences, was awarded a Certificate of Appreciation from the State Scientific Institution "Institute for the Modernization of Education Content" of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine for her significant contribution to the popularization of the artistic word, Ukrainian culture and history, promotion of the creative and intellectual development of the younger generation as a guarantee of the successful future of the Ukrainian nation.
