
Last year, the Department of Language Training of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs launched the project ‘A Way to Europe’ for in-depth study of English by higher education students. The project is focused on learning English using an innovative method of blended learning.

On the eve of the Student's Day, which is celebrated in Ukraine on 17 November, the most active students of Vinnytsia region's higher education institutions were traditionally awarded. Andrii Lemishevskyi, a cadet of the ERI No. 2, was awarded the Acknowledgement of Vinnytsia City Council and its Executive Committee for his active citizenship, initiative and perseverance.

Antonina Tkach, a 4th year student of Sumy branch of KhNUIA, took part in the tenth Kyiv Security Forum for Youth ‘GEN W: Generation of War’, where more than a hundred leaders from all over Ukraine discussed the importance of Ukraine's membership in NATO and the EU, considered the challenges facing Ukrainian youth during the war.

This was the topic of a practical lesson in sociology for second-year students of the ERI №4, specialising in Law Enforcement, conducted by Serhii Semenov, attorney-at-law, managing partner of the Law Group ‘Liga Zakhyst’, together with Oksana Melnychuk, Associate Professor of the Department of Social and Economic Disciplines of the ERI №4.

Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs once again hosted events related to blood donation. Students of the specialisation course for community police officers took part in the formation of a blood bank. Representatives of the university will continue to donate blood and support the donor movement.

For the first-year cadets of the ERI No. 1, the class was conducted by Oleksandr Barbaniuk, investigator of the Investigation Department for solving crimes committed against life and health of a person, the Investigation Department of Kamianets-Podilskyi District Police in Khmelnytskyi region, and Nataliia Yelnikova, senior lecturer of the Department of Humanities and Ukrainian Studies.

The curators of the study groups of the ERI No. 5 introduced students to the concept and main types of bullying as a social phenomenon that negatively affects the educational environment and youth development. They considered the most common manifestations of bullying and ways to overcome them.

Volodymyr Ivantsov, Head of the Department for the Organisation of Educational and Scientific Training (Doctoral and Postgraduate Studies), and Daniil Zinchenko, an Associate Professor in the same department, completed training on the Prometheus platform on the topic ‘Human Trafficking: How to Protect Yourself and Your Loved Ones’.

Andrii Siadrystyi, Senior Lecturer of the Department of Legal Disciplines of Sumy Branch of KhNUIA, together with Oleh Panov, Senior Inspector for Special Assignments of the Weapons Control Department of the Main Department of the National Police in Kharkiv Region, conducted a class for 2nd year cadets as part of the Administrative Law course.

Within the framework of the annual All-Ukrainian action ‘16 Days Against Violence’, Mykola Holub, Professor of the Department of Law Enforcement of the ERI №5, together with Oleksii Lobur, Head of the Domestic Violence Sector of the Prevention Department of the Main Department of the National Police in Kharkiv Region, held a binary class of the discipline ‘Police Activity’.
