
Professor of the Department of Constitutional and International Law and Human Rights Andrii Voitsikhovskyi took part in the training ‘Peculiarities of Appealing to the UN Human Rights Committee’, organised by Kharkiv Human Rights Group with the support of the Center for Civil Liberties and Kyiv School of Human Rights and Democracy.

The staff of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs expresses condolences to the family and friends of Police Colonel Andrii Matviienko, who was killed in a Russian strike. He was the deputy head of the Human Resources Department of the Main Department of the National Police in Kharkiv region.

Oleksii Serdiuk, Head of the Research Laboratory of Social and Psychological Support, Assistance and Rehabilitation of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the ERI №3, made a presentation on ‘European experience of police cooperation with the public’ and took part in the discussion platform ‘Organisation of cooperation between the National Police and public formations for the protection of public order and the state border under martial law’.

It was conducted by Yevhen Zozulia, a lecturer at the Department of Criminalistics and Forensic Science of the Educational and Research Institute №1 of KhNUIA, together with Vitalii Kavkal, Head of the Human Rights Sector of Kamianets-Podilskyi District Department of the Main Department of the National Police in Khmelnytskyi Region, and Albina Melnyk, Senior Inspector of the Sector.

Senior Lecturer of the Department of Criminal Law and Criminology of the ERI № 5 Yulia Mytrofanova held a conversation with second-year students studying Law on military-patriotic education of youth. The educational event was held within the framework of the discipline ‘Criminal Law’.

This was the theme of a workshop on the prevention of professional burnout, which was attended by Tetiana Ponomarenko, Associate Professor of the Department of Humanities of Sumy Branch of KhNUIA, and Snizhana Dudchenko, a student majoring in Law Enforcement.

Police officer of the community police station No. 20 of Kamianets-Podilskyi District Police Department of the National Police in Khmelnytskyi region, Police Captain Iryna Krapivnytska and Professor of the Department of Constitutional and International Law and Human Rights Yevheniia Lohvynenko conducted a binary lesson for 2nd year students majoring in Law at the Educational and Research Institute No. 1 on the discipline ‘Constitutional Law’.

On the occasion of the EU Foundation Day, the Department of Social and Humanitarian Work organised the participation of higher education students of the Educational and Research Institutes No. 2 and No. 3 in the event ‘Core Values of the European Union’.

Volodymyr Dementov, Associate Professor of the Department of Socio-Economic Disciplines of Sumy Branch of KhNUIA, took part in a seminar on building a national consensus on open science within the Erasmus+ Open4UA project.
