As part of the implementation of the National Strategy for Promoting the Development of Civil Society in Ukraine, the Civil Society Week launched by the Ministry of Culture and Information Policy of Ukraine (MCIP) will be held for the first time from September 11 to September 17, 2023.

Oleksandr Avdieiev, Associate Professor of the Department of Criminal Law and Criminology of the Faculty No. 1, gave an open lecture on the discipline "Criminal Law".
During the lesson, all types of stages of a criminal offense were considered, the cadets learned to distinguish between socially dangerous acts by the moment of their completion and, using specific examples, got acquainted with the types of preparatory actions that can be applied at the stage of preparation for a criminal offense.

Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs hosted an organizational meeting of Vitalii Naida, Head of the School of Scientific Leadership, with the first-year students of Faculty No. 2 on the participation of cadets in the scientific life of the university.

Ihor Zozulia, professor of the Department of Criminalistics, Forensic Science and Pre-medical Training of the Faculty No. 1, and Roman Savchuk, a freshman at the same Faculty, visited Kamianets-Podilskyi Lyceum "Slavutynka" of Khmelnytskyi Regional Council. They congratulated the tenth to eleventh grade students and teachers on the start of the new school year.

On the eve of the new academic year, the Rector of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs Valerii Sokurenko spoke about the peculiarities of the educational process at the university in the new academic year, the advantages of full-time education, the importance of motivation for young people in their chosen profession, national and patriotic and military and patriotic education, etc.

The Dean of the Faculty № 2 Ihor Nazarenko presented commendations to junior commanders for their active participation in the 2023 camp training, conscientious performance of duties, exemplary discipline and active participation in the university's social life.

Oleksandr Marunchak, Head of the Driving School for Persons with Disabilities of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, held a working meeting with Yurii Voloshchuk, Head of the Slobidsko-Kulchiievetska Regional Territorial Community of Kamianets-Podilskyi District, Oksana Belikova, Deputy Head of the Council's Executive Bodies, and employees of the community's structural units.

Higher education applicants of the Faculties 2 and 3 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs took part in the biographical, scientific and artistic event - Stusiv Readings. As in previous years, they took place in Vinnytsia Regional Scientific Universal Library named after V. Otamanovskyi.

The management of the Faculty No. 6 organized an orientation meeting with first-year students who entered Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs this year. The Dean of the Faculty Oksana Brusakova introduced the students to the leadership of the Faculty, the academic staff of the departments, and introduced them to the methodologists.
