Tetiana Ponomarenko, Associate Professor of the Department of Humanities of Sumy Branch of KhNUIA, held an event for 1st year students majoring in Law Enforcement to mark World Suicide Prevention Day.

This was the topic of a binary lesson for applicants for higher education in the discipline “Sociology” conducted by Associate Professor of the Department of Social and Economic Disciplines of the ERI №4 Natalia Bobro together with Senior Lecturer of the Department of Operational and Investigative Activities and Crime Solving of the ERI №2 Pavlo Mitrukhov.

Representatives of the Department of Constitutional and International Law and Human Rights: Head Tetiana Hudz, Professor Andrii Voitsikhovskyi, Associate Professors Yevheniia Lohvynenko and Daria Heta, as well as Senior Lecturer Nataliia Filipska attended an online lecture on “The Constitutional Court of the Republic of Latvia: History of Establishment, Powers and Role in the System of Constitutional Bodies”.

The two-day event, which took place in Odesa, was attended by Oleksii Serdiuk, Head of the Research Laboratory of Social and Psychological Support, Support and Rehabilitation of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the ERI №3 (NCPs in the field of “Civilian Security for Society”).

The class was conducted by Karina Samoilyk, a leading inspector of Saltovskyi District Department of the Probation Center branch in Kharkiv Region, and Iryna Lutsenko, an associate professor of the Department of Criminal Law and Criminology of the ERI №1.

The event was attended by Oleksii Serdiuk, Head of the Research Laboratory of Social and Psychological Support, Support and Rehabilitation of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the ERI #3. At the meeting, the newly created network of National Contact Points (NCPs) of the European Union Framework Program.
