As part of the national and patriotic education, Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs hosted a meeting of the 1st year cadets of the Faculty No. 3 with the writer Alona Nikitina, who is also known by the pseudonym "Swallow of the Free Sky". The meeting was held in the format of a literary reading, during which the participants got acquainted with the author's poems.
Senior Lecturer of the Department of Criminal Law and Criminology Yuliia Mytrofanova and Senior Investigators of the Investigation Department of the Police Department No. 3 of Kharkiv District Police Department No. 1 of the Main Department of the National Police in Kharkiv Region Dmytro Shmadchenko and Olha Susla conducted a binary lesson for students of the Faculty No. 6 of KhNUIA.
With the assistance of the Dean of the Faculty № 6 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, Doctor of Law, Associate Professor Oksana Brusakova and Head of the Department of Legal Support of Entrepreneurial Activity and Financial Security of the Faculty № 6, Doctor of Law, Professor Olha Hetmanets, the winners and best participants of the scientific and creative competition on financial security and financial investigations "Financial ABC" were awarded.
In accordance with the work plan of the scientific circle of the Department of Social Sciences and Humanities of the Faculty No. 6, an online round table on "Actual Problems of the Culture of Professional Communication" was held, organized by the senior lecturer of the department, Candidate of Philological Sciences Mykhailo Ovchynnykov.
Oleksandra Kodak, a 2nd year cadet of the Faculty No. 1 of KhNUIA, who is one of the leaders of the All-Ukrainian Public Children's Movement "School of Safety", attended the practical and theoretical seminar "@disaster". The event took place in Osnabrück (Lower Saxony, Germany), initiated by the German organization THW-Jugend.
Every year on May 23, Ukraine celebrates the Heroes' Day holiday, which was introduced in honor of all the defenders of our country who have fought and continue to fight to defend our independence and territorial integrity. This holiday is of particular value to all Ukrainians, as every citizen who resists Russian aggression, defends his or her homeland, works for the benefit of the Motherland, fights on the battlefield or engages in volunteer activities can be called a Ukrainian hero.
Representatives of the Faculties No. 6 and No. 1 took part in the international scientific and practical conference "Topical Issues of Forensic Expertise and Criminalistics", which was held on the basis of the National Scientific Center "Hon. Prof. M. S. Bokarius Forensic Science Institute: 95th anniversary of Lev Arotsker and 105th anniversary of Mykhailo Saltevskyi.
As part of the distance educational process at Sumy branch of KhNUIA, at a binary lesson on legal psychology organized by Professor of the Department of Humanities Nadiia Demydenko, 1st year students majoring in Law Enforcement and 2nd year students majoring in Law talked to Olena Kovalova, Head of the Psychological Service of the Main Department of the National Police in Sumy Region.
Svitlana Petrovska, Associate Professor of the Department of Socio-Economic Disciplines of Sumy Branch of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, took an online course "Life Safety Training Course" developed by the NGO Association of Deminers of Ukraine with the financial support of the US Department of State and the US Embassy in Ukraine and received a certificate based on the results of successful testing.
Tetiana Herashchenko, Associate Professor of the Department of Humanities at Sumy Branch of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, held a curatorial hour with the cadets of Group 201 on the topic "Outstanding Ukrainians who changed the world" on the occasion of the Day of Science in Ukraine.
