On the Day of Ukrainian Statehood, an excursion "Kamianets-Podilskyi - the Cathedral Capital of Ukraine" was organized for higher education students of Faculties 1 and 4 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs. The students learned about interesting facts from the history of the city.
On the Day of Ukrainian Statehood, cadets of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs took part in putting flowers at the memorial in the Heroes' Square in Kamianets-Podilskyi. Representatives of the university observed a minute of silence in memory of the soldiers who died defending Ukraine, as well as civilians who became victims of Russian aggression.
The university continues training sessions for cadets of the Faculty No. 3, conducted by specialists of the psychological support department of the VKZ. During the classes, the cadets develop professionally important qualities such as stress resistance, empathy, skills of constructive interaction, as well as the best features of the Ukrainian mentality.
The University Scientific Library has prepared a virtual exhibition dedicated to the Day of Ukrainian Statehood, a public holiday celebrated on July 28, the Day of the Baptism of Kyivan Rus - Ukraine.
Posters with a QR code and information about the Driving School for Persons with Disabilities with a list of services, documents for admission and address were received by students of Kamianets-Podilskyi State Institute of Higher Education.
Petro Sereda, Director of the Department of Social Protection of Kamianets-Podilskyi City Council, and Oleksandr Marunchak, a specialist at the Driving School for Persons with Disabilities of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, discussed the creation of a veterans' hub for people with disabilities in Kamianets-Podilskyi.
The permanent and variable staff of the Faculty No. 3 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs is a participant in the "Helping and Winning" campaign aimed at helping the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The cadets believe that volunteering is a priority during the war and brings us all closer to victory.
July 30 has been chosen as the World Day Against Trafficking in Persons. It was established by the UN General Assembly in 2013. Since then, international and non-governmental organizations, educational institutions, government agencies, and activists have been conducting awareness campaigns to tell as many people as possible how widespread and dangerous human trafficking is in the world.
Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs hosted an information event dedicated to the World Day Against Trafficking in Persons. It was attended by Vice-Rector of the University Anatolii Klochko, Anti-Trafficking Manager of the OSCE Support Program for Ukraine Nadiia Ostapchuk, Head of the Department of International Cooperation Olena Ustymenko, representatives of the Educational and Methodological Department, academic staff and students of the University.
Rector of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs Valerii Sokurenko spoke on the TV program "For the time being" on the municipal TV channel "VITA TV". The topics of discussion were the areas of training of future law enforcement officers under martial law, benefits for defenders who want to enter the university, and the activities of the Driving School for people with disabilities.
