
Since the beginning of the war, Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs was forced to relocate to other regions of Ukraine to preserve its staff and continue training new police officers for the Security and Defence Forces.

Vitalii Romaniuk, Dean of the Faculty № 1 of KhNUIA, took a course for teachers of higher education institutions “6 Steps to Integrity: From Theory to Practice”. The course participants considered the following topics: “Public Integrity”, ‘Integrity of a teacher of a higher education institution’, ‘What is corruption?’, ‘Manifestations of corruption in the educational sphere’.

Teiiub Abdulaiev, a cadet of the Faculty № 1, and Artem Hromovych, a cadet of the Faculty № 4, who are members of the scientific club of the Department of Theory and History of State and Law, became semi-finalists of the II All-Ukrainian Youth Competition “Legal Education of the Future”.

Dmytro Miroshnyk and Diana Reida, cadets of the Faculty No. 1, under the scientific guidance of Oleksii Dereviahin, Professor of the Department of Operational and Investigative Activities and Crime Solving, took part in the XXVIII International Scientific and Practical Conference “Trends and Perspectives of the Development of Science and Education in Globalization”.

Vitalii Naida, the coordinator of the Legal Clinic of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs in Vinnytsia, held an introductory meeting with representatives of the Student Council of Vinnytsia region - Nazar Nikolaichuk, the chairman of the Committee on Educational and Legal Activities, and Yevhenia Stanislavenko, a volunteer of the Committee.

Valentyna Lavrusenko and Mariia Artiukhova, employees of the Social and Humanitarian Work Department, held educational hours for higher education students of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs.

During the meeting with the delegation of the European Union Advisory Mission Ukraine, Rector Valerii Sokurenko noted the long-standing cooperation, in particular within the framework of the international technical assistance project “Operational Support to Providing Strategic Advice for the Reform of the Civilian Security Sector in Ukraine”.

Oleksii Salmanov, Deputy Dean for Educational and Methodological Work of the Faculty No. 1 of KhNUIA, took part in an international webinar on the topic: “International experience of using artificial intelligence in the educational process”.

Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs held consultations on the requirements for assessing the level of physical fitness and conducting an interview to assess the level of motivation for the chosen profession.

Roman Dmytriiev, a participant of the School of Scientific Leadership, 1st year cadet of the Faculty № 3, became a semi-finalist of the II All-Ukrainian Youth Competition “Legal Education of the Future”. Under the scientific guidance of Vitalii Naida, Head of the School of Scientific Leadership, researcher at the Research Laboratory for Psychological Support of Law Enforcement, the cadet prepared an essay on “Modern Challenges for Legal Education: the Need for Reforms and Innovations”.
