The university held celebrations on the occasion of the Constitution Day of Ukraine with the participation of the management, staff, cadets and students of the university. According to the Rector of the University Valerii Sokurenko, the adoption of the current Constitution of Ukraine by the Verkhovna Rada on June 28, 1996, was an important stage in the development of Ukrainian society
Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs in Khmelnytskyi region held celebrations on the occasion of the Constitution Day of Ukraine. Employees and cadets of the University performed the National Anthem of Ukraine and observed a minute of silence in memory of the soldiers who died defending Ukraine, as well as civilians who became victims of Russian aggression.
Dmytro Slynko, Professor of the Department of Theory and History of State and Law of the Faculty No. 1 of KhNUIA, took part in the webinar "Peculiarities of the organization of education in individual and distance forms under martial law", which took place on the national educational platform "Vseosvita".
During the regular meeting of the Academic Council, the university staff was awarded. Diplomas were awarded for participation in the All-Ukrainian competition for the best legal publication. The first degree diploma in the nomination "Periodicals", which was awarded to the scientific journal of KhNUIA "Law and Security", was presented to the Rector of the university, editor-in-chief of the publication Valerii Sokurenko by the First Vice-President of the National Academy of Legal Sciences of Ukraine Oleksandr Bandurka.

At the beginning of the meeting, he congratulated the founder and first rector of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, People's Deputy of Ukraine of four convocations, Academician of the National Academy of Legal Sciences of Ukraine, Doctor of Law, Professor, Honored Lawyer of Ukraine, Colonel-General of the Police Oleksandr Bandurka on his election to the high position of First Vice President of the National Academy of Legal Sciences of Ukraine.
The children of the employees of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs and its structural subdivisions - Sumy branch, Kremenchuk Flight College, as well as pupils of sponsored educational institutions of Vinnytsia and Khmelnytskyi regions - were treated to the event "Big Rights of a Little Child" organized by the Social and Humanitarian Work Department on the occasion of the Constitution Day of Ukraine.
