Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs held an international scientific psychological forum "Personality, Society, War", which was attended by scientists and representatives of psychological services of the security and defense sector of Ukraine: The National Police, the National Guard, the State Emergency Service, the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as well as representatives of higher education institutions from both Ukraine and foreign countries (Great Britain, Colombia, Poland, Sweden, Serbia), and practicing psychologists.
As part of optional classes in the discipline "Actions of the National Police Investigative and Operational Groups to Document Crimes Related to Armed Aggression Against Ukraine", 3rd year cadets of Sumy branch of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs were trained at locations set up at the university.
Students and lecturers of Sumy branch of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs once again had the opportunity to meet online and listen to a lecture by judges of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine on the topic "Activities and Powers of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine".
The Institute of Postgraduate Education of KhNUIA continues the practice of conducting binary classes in the courses of initial professional training of police officers. The lecturer of the cycle of special disciplines of the Institute Kostiantyn Butenko together with the instructor of combat training Oleksandr Subbotin conducted a physical training class "Tactics of self-defense".
Mariia Palona, a 2nd year cadet of the Faculty №4 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, won the championship among women in the 59 kg weight category with a total weightlifting score of 121 kg in Donetsk Regional Weightlifting Championship.
Svitlana Petrovska, Associate Professor of the Department of Socio-Economic Disciplines of Sumy branch of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, organized a binary lesson on the discipline "Fundamentals of Occupational Safety" for fourth-year full-time students with the participation of Mykhailo Petrovskyi, Associate Professor of the Department of Electric Power Engineering of Sumy State University, Candidate of Physical and Mathematical Sciences.
Alina Piddubna, Associate Professor of the Department of Criminal Procedure and Organization of Pre-trial Investigation of the Faculty №1, and Iryna Nechaieva, a lecturer at the same department, conducted optional classes for graduates of the Faculty №1 on the subject "Actions of the National Police Investigative and Operational Groups to Document Crimes Related to Armed Aggression against Ukraine."
On the eve of the 209th anniversary of the birth of Great Kobzar, the NGO "Innovative Horizons of Ukraine" held an all-Ukrainian essay contest "My Shevchenko". The competition was also attended by cadets of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs under the guidance of lecturers of the Department of Ukrainian Studies of the Faculty №2.
Vasyl Korniienko, Associate Professor of the Department of Criminalistics, Forensic Science and Pre-medical Training of the Faculty №1, conducted a binary lesson on forensics for 3rd year cadets on the topic "Features of working with traces of criminal offenses at the scene".
Cadets and employees of Sumy branch of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs took part in the "Book to Heroes" project initiated by the Department of Education, Science and Sports of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
