Equipment for a specialized classroom on international humanitarian law, which was opened at Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, and training on international humanitarian law and international human rights law were the result of a visit of representatives of the International Committee of the Red Cross to Kharkiv Police University.
Tatiana Veremiienko, a 2nd year cadet of Sumy Branch of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, became a silver medalist at the Ukrainian Beach Wrestling Championship among cadets and juniors. More than 170 athletes from 13 regions of the country competed in the championship, which took place in Rivne region.
In Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs a binary lesson was held for cadets of the Faculty No. 3 of Group 105 on the topic "Qualification of Administrative Offenses" within the discipline "Fundamentals of Administrative and Jurisdictional Activities".
As part of the visit of representatives of the International Committee of the Red Cross, the University conducted a training on the Principles of the Use of Force by Law Enforcement Agencies in accordance with International Humanitarian Law and International Human Rights Law.
Liudmyla Parfentii, PhD in Economics, Associate Professor of the Department of Social and Economic Disciplines of Sumy Branch of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, together with Olha Tkachenko, accountant of Sumy Palace of Children and Youth, held a video conference class on Accounting.
Svitlana Kharchenko, Professor of the Department of Pedagogy and Psychology of the Faculty № 3 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, together with Yuliia Redko, a district police officer of Krasnohrad District Police Department of the Main Department of the National Police in Kharkiv Region, conducted a binary lesson on the discipline "Psychodiagnostics" with 3rd year cadets of the Faculty № 3.
Associate professors of the Department of Humanities Anna Dovhopolova and Yuliia Samoilova conducted a binary foreign language class in Zarichnyi District Court of Sumy for the 1st year students of Sumy branch majoring in Law Enforcement.
The First Vice-Rector of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs Oleksandr Morhunov visited the educational building of the university in Khmelnytskyi region, where he met with lecturers, attended classes, and talked to cadets. Oleksandr Anatoliiovych also inspected the territory of the higher education institution, the shelter and the dining room.
The protection of the state border of Ukraine is an integral part of the national system of national security and consists in the coordinated activities of military formations and law enforcement agencies of the state. To strengthen the service on the state border of Ukraine in Chernivtsi region, cadets of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs were sent to the Border Guard Service units.
They were held in the Youth Friendly Clinic of Sumy City Council with the support of the AVSI Charitable Foundation and the Helpgroup Charitable Foundation. "Interesting and intense classes psychologically relieve participants in times of danger and trials," says psychologist Taisiia Lutskovska, "We learned together to manage emotions, understand and support ourselves, because this is an important part of our lives.
