On May 6, 2022, the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi signed the draft law No. 4284 dated 29.10.2020 ”On de-Sovietization of the legislation of Ukraine”.

Deputy Head of the Research Laboratory on the problems of scientific support of law enforcement and quality of training Oleksiy Serdiuk made a presentation “Fighting human trafficking in Ukraine in the context of armed aggression of the Russian Federation” at the next monthly meeting of experts of the Global Initiative against Transnational Organized Crime – Global Initiative organized Crime Network of Experts Virtual Group Discussions (GIN VGDs).

The School of Scientific Leadership of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs within the cooperation with Associate Professor of the Department of Natural and Mathematical Education and Technology of Borys Grinchenko Kyiv University, PhD, Associate Professor, Honorary Professor, Education Excellent of Ukraine Vasyl Zaplatynskyi, organized a webinar “Chemical Security”.

Representatives of the Department of Pedagogy and Psychology of the Faculty № 3 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs joined the All-Ukrainian volunteer movement from the first days of the war in order to provide humanitarian assistance during the war.

At this difficult time for Ukraine, the teaching staff of the Department of Foreign Languages of the Faculty №4 of KhNUIA continues to improve professional skills. Associate Professor of the Department Valentyna Pochuieva, Senior Lecturers Nataliia Horbach, Halyna Sorokina and Lecturer of the same Department Artem Bilousov took part in a webinar on the organization of online education and involvement of students in the creative use of the Internet «Introducing Breaking Through The Screen: Empowering Students to Soar to New Heights in Online Learning» from National Geographic Learning and in a conference "Supporting displaced learners and teachers from Ukraine" from Сambridge Assessment English. Participants received certificates based on the results of participation in the events.

Olha Piskunova, Commissioner for Anti-Corruption Activity of KhNUIA, took part in the round table "Identification of corruption risks in the activity of the Ministry of Internal Affairs under martial law and postwar reconstruction of Ukraine". Participants discussed corruption risks related to hostilities on the territory of the state, receipt and distribution of humanitarian aid, passage of citizens across the state border, features of the investigation of corruption and corruption-related offenses under martial law.

An online meeting of the Department of Law Enforcement Activity and Policeistics of the Faculty № 6 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs was held using the Google Meet platform.

The All-Ukrainian round table on the topic "Current issues of road safety ensuring under the martial law regime in Ukraine" organized by the scientific and pedagogical staff of the Department of Administrative Law and Procedure of the Faculty № 1 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs took place.
