The All-Ukrainian creative work competition "National and Patriotic Formation of Youth" dedicated to the Day of Unity of Ukraine was initiated by the Institute of Political, Legal and Religious Studies and supported by the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine, the National Agency for Higher Education Quality Assurance, the National Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of Ukraine, the European Cultural Assembly, Kyiv City State Administration, and the All-Ukrainian Society "Znannia" of Ukraine.

In particular, it was the leitmotif and defining idea of the National Liberation War of the Ukrainian people in the mid-seventeenth century. On January 22, Ukraine celebrates the Day of Unity. All locations of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs - in Kharkiv, Vinnytsia, Khmelnytskyi, Sumy and Poltava regions - held solemn formations on the occasion of this date.
