
The All-Ukrainian creative work competition "National and Patriotic Formation of Youth" dedicated to the Day of Unity of Ukraine was initiated by the Institute of Political, Legal and Religious Studies and supported by the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine, the National Agency for Higher Education Quality Assurance, the National Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of Ukraine, the European Cultural Assembly, Kyiv City State Administration, and the All-Ukrainian Society "Znannia" of Ukraine.

The dream of Ukrainians about the unity and unification of all Ukrainian lands has existed for many centuries. In particular, it was the leitmotif and defining idea of the National Liberation War of the Ukrainian people in the mid-seventeenth century. These events led to the idea of the unity of Ukrainian lands becoming a part of the public consciousness of Ukrainians.

On January 22, Ukraine celebrates the Day of Unity. All locations of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs - in Kharkiv, Vinnytsia, Khmelnytskyi, Sumy and Poltava regions - held solemn formations on the occasion of this date.

Unity Day is an important holiday for all Ukrainians, which is celebrated annually on January 22. On this day, in 1919, the Act of Unification of the Ukrainian People's Republic and the Western Ukrainian People's Republic was signed.

January 22 is the Day of Unity of Ukraine. This important historical holiday is associated with the centuries-old struggle of the Ukrainian people for their freedom, self-determination and independence. Thousands of Ukrainian patriots laid down their lives on the altar of freedom. Today, the struggle for the unity of their lands continues in the fiercest battles with the Russian enemy.
