Associate Professor of the Department of Administrative Law and Process of the Faculty No. 1 Police Colonel Iryna Kazanchuk completed the online training course "The Brand of a Scientist in the Digital World", organized within the framework of the "United by Science" project by the Scientist Support Office.
During the week, with the aim of deepening cooperation with the schools of the city of Sumy, a podcast training "No one will help?: psychological and legal assistance for women, men, children who have experienced domestic violence" was held, created within the framework of the UN Program for Reconstruction and Peacebuilding with the support of European Union in Ukraine.
Participants of the School of Scientific Leadership, cadets of the Faculty No. 1 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs Oleksandra Isaieva, Volodymyr Ishchenko and Dmytro Osadchuk took part in the seminar on the topic "Global Practice of Local Peace Committees in the Realities of the War in Ukraine", held in the city of Lutsk.
Associate Professor of the Department of Legal Disciplines, Head of the Scientific Circle "State and Legal Disciplines" of Sumy Branch of KhNUIA, Candidate of Historical Sciences Lesia Honcharenko, together with members of the circle Daria Kolomiiets and Antonina Tkach, took part in the work of a scientific and practical round table dedicated to the 74th anniversary of the proclamation of the General declaration of human rights on the topic "Protection of human rights in Ukraine: current state and prospects for improvement".
Nataliia Filipska, a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Constitutional and International Law of the Faculty No. 4 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, took part in two workshops on the topic "War crimes - the style dictated by Russia. How not to become followers?" and ''Abduction of civilians as a systematic practice in the occupied territories", as well as in the online platform "Problems of statelessness in Ukraine and challenges in conditions of war".
As part of the All-Ukrainian Week of Law and implementation of the Communication Strategy on the Euro-Atlantic Integration of Ukraine until 2025, a round table was held at the Department of Socio-Economic Disciplines of Sumy Branch of KhNUIA on the topic "Fraud on the insurance market: current problems and ways to solve them on the way to the Euro-Atlantic integration of Ukraine".
The staff of the Department of Pedagogy and Psychology, Faculty No. 3 of KhNUIA continue conducting career guidance work in Ternopil region. The other day, Associate Professor of the department Pavlo Makarenko visited one of the general secondary education institutions of Kremenets district of Ternopil region, where he held a meeting with the management and high school students.
As part of the career orientation work, Associate Professor of the Department of Constitutional and International Law, Faculty No. 4 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, Yevheniia Lohvynenko, held a meeting with Nataliia Osadchuk, director of Kamianets-Podilskyi Lyceum No. 9 named after A. M. Troian.
The event was attended by vice-rectors, deans of faculties, department heads, and permanent staff of the university. Valerii Sokurenko, Rector of the university, Police General of the third rank, addressed the police officers with an opening speech: "The leadership of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the National Police pays great attention to the practical component of training cadets.
