The war has forever changed the lives of Ukrainians. From its first days, thousands of volunteers lined up in long lines at the military commissariats to protect their families and their native land from the cruel and cynical Russian enemy, others joined the tireless and powerful army of volunteers, and those who chose to serve the state as their profession by taking the Oath for loyalty to the Ukrainian people, became the vanguard of a strong, courageous and freedom-loving Ukrainian army. Their knowledge, professionalism and experience, which they apply every day, help to successfully restrain the enemy, repel attacks, go on the offensive.

In 2021, Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs signed a memorandum of cooperation within the framework of the "Kharkivshchyna 1325" Coalition. This document combined the efforts and resources of more than 15 public organizations, five higher education institutions of the security and defense sector, as well as the Department of Education and Science of Kharkiv Regional State Administration.
Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs participated in the lecture dedicated to the International Human Rights Day as part of the "Educational Marathon", which was initiated by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine for the "16 Days Against Violence" global campaign.
