Within the framework of career guidance and the All-Ukrainian Law Week, the staff of the Department of Legal Disciplines of Sumy Branch - Head of the Department Oksana Panasiuk, Professor Oleksii Shumilo and Lecturer Yevheniia Manko with the participation of cadet Kyrylo Yeremenko - conducted an introductory tour of the branch for the students of Sumy Secondary School No. 19 of  Sumy City Council. The director and teachers of the secondary school No. 19 also visited the higher education institution.

Associate Professor of the Department of Humanities of Sumy Branch of KhNUIA Tetiana Bilous and higher education applicant Kateryna Oliinyk took part in the XIII International Scientific and Practical Conference "Development trends and improvement of old methods", where they presented a report "The process of interaction between morality and conflicts in society".

The cadets of Sumy branch took part in the training discussion "Clear about NATO", conducted and organized by the Center for Regional Security Studies of Sumy State University. The issues of challenges and opportunities for Ukraine in case of its accession to NATO, development prospects, and the experience of NATO member countries were discussed. Organized into groups, the students discussed the reasons why Ukraine is not ready to join the Alliance.

The 1st year cadets of the training group of the Faculty № 4 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs and their curator, Natalia Olendra, a lecturer at the Department of Foreign Languages of the Faculty № 4, handed over camouflage nets they had woven with their own hands and the Flag of Ukraine signed with words of gratitude to our defenders.

From December 10 to 14, 2023, the European Muay Thai Boxing Championship among adults was held in Antalya (Republic of Turkey), in which university athletes - members of the National Team of Ukraine - took part and won prizes.

Employees of the Department of Social and Economic Disciplines of the Faculty No. 2, Iryna Sievidova, Andrii Diadin, Nataliia Pavlenko and Nataliia Bobro, held a series of meetings with groups of cadets in which they are curators. They discussed issues of academic integrity, compliance with ethical rules of police officers, including gender tolerance, transport discipline, prevention of alcoholism and drug addiction, bribery and corruption.

Students of the Driving School for People with Disabilities of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs who speak sign language passed the theoretical part of the driving exam at the regional service center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Khmelnytskyi region in Kamianets-Podilskyi.

On December 14-19, 2023, Faculty No. 6 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs will hold an online competition "Young Lawyer" among students of grades 10-11 of secondary schools in Kharkiv and Kharkiv region, as well as first and second year students of professional higher and vocational education institutions.

The Rector of the university, Police General of the third rank Valerii Sokurenko, handed over camouflage nets to the deputy head of the Eastern Territorial Department of the National Guard of Ukraine Serhii Uniiatov. The necessary means of camouflage for manpower and equipment were woven by cadets and students of the university.

During the roundtable, the speakers noted that the relevance of the use of information technology is growing due to threats from the aggressor country and the criminal world and the need for the speedy introduction of intelligent data and information processing systems into the activities of law enforcement agencies.
