The lecturers of the Department of Tactical and Special Physical Training of the Faculty No. 3 - Senior Lecturer of the Department Volodymyr Yevtushok and Senior Lecturer of the Department Mykhailo Inshekov conducted an field practical lesson on tactical and special training for the cadets of the Faculty No. 1 on the topic "Practice of individual tactical actions of National Police employees under conditions of intensive fire contact by tactical small groups" using paintball equipment.

Leading Researcher of the Scientific Research Laboratory on the Problems of Psychological Support of Law Enforcement Activity, Doctor of Law, Senior Researcher Yevheniia Hladkova took part in the August International Pedagogical Scientific and Practical Conference "Education, Educators - Indomitable in War", which was held on the basis of gymnasium No. 1 of Bucha city, Kyiv region. 

The binary class for cadets of the 2nd year of the Faculty No. 2 in the academic discipline "Police Activity" was devoted to the topic "Organization of the activity of the National Police units in the field of ensuring road traffic safety." Associate Professor of the Department of Police Activity and Public Administration of the Faculty No. 3 Kateryna Chyshko and Yuliia Myroniuk, Senior Inspector of the MDNP of Vinnytsia region, took part in the training.

Today, August 19, is the Day of Mourning in Kharkov as a sign of mourning for those who died as a result of powerful shelling carried out by the troops of the Russian Federation on August 17 and 18. The State Flag of Ukraine with a black ribbon is flown at half mast on the buildings and structures of Kharkiv. 

At Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, the admission campaign for the budgetary form of education (cadets) has finished. On August 15–17, 2022, the Ukrainian Sambo Championship was held in Kyiv. According to the results of the competition, Vasyl Sydor, a 3rd year cadet of the Faculty No. 2, took first place and won the right to participate in the world championship, which will be held in October this year in the Republic of Armenia.

3rd year cadet of the Faculty No. 4, head of the cadet-student self-government Oleksandr Babych and cadets of Kremenchuk Flight College of KhNUIA Dmytro Khodin, Marharyta Kaptsevych and Oleksii Voloshyn - members of the vocal ensemble "Kryla" (the leader is the head of the club of the Department of Social and Humanitarian, Vocational Guidance and Educational Work of KFC of KhNUIA Tetiana Bulat) - took first place in the 5th All-Ukrainian multi-genre competition "Battle of Genres".
