The Election Commission of the cadet and student self-government has started accepting applications for the position of the Chairman of the cadet and student Parliament of the KhNUIA.
Candidate registration will last from September 27 to October 15, 2023.

Senior Lecturer of the Department of Criminal Law and Criminology of the Faculty № 6 Yulia Mytrofanova and practicing attorney Anton Sankin conducted an online binary lesson with 2nd year law students of the Faculty № 6. The topic of the practical lesson was criminal liability.

On September 28, 2023, at 16.00, a video lecture on the occasion of the Day of Remembrance of the Babyn Yar Victims will be held for higher education students of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs. The event will be held by Kostiantyn Dubin, Head of the Department of Kharkiv Historical Museum.

Associate professors of the Department of Criminal Procedure and Organization of Pre-trial Investigation of Faculty No. 1 Alina Piddubna and Oleksii Salmanov and a lecturer of the same department Kateryna Horbunova conducted binary classes together with employees of Kamianets-Podilskyi District Department of the National Police in Khmelnytskyi Oblast to strengthen the practical component of the training sessions.

Yuliia Zahumenna, Professor of the Department of Theory and History of State and Law of the Faculty of Law No. 1, and the 2nd year students of the Faculty of Law No. 1 have successfully completed the online course "Corruption-off: How to Combat Corruption Risks in Higher Education" on the EdEra educational platform as part of their curatorial work.

Yuliia Zahumenna, Professor of the Department of Theory and History of State and Law of the Faculty No. 1, took part in the VII Kharkiv International Legal Forum, in the panel discussion "Ukraine - European Union: Architecture and Dynamics of Integration" and in the workshop for young scientists "Life hacks for preparing and publishing research results".

As part of the work of the Legal Clinic Department of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs in Vinnytsia, cadets-consultants together with the Department Coordinator Vitalii Naida attended the presentation of the book "The Spirit and Passions of a Lawyer" by Oleksii Yakymenko.

As part of the events dedicated to the European Heritage Days, first-year students of the Faculty No. 6 of KhNUIA attended a concert of Ukrainian author's song "In the Song of the People - My Fate" dedicated to the memory of the outstanding Kamianets-Podilskyi musician-composer Oleksii Betz.

Applicants for higher education of the Faculties No. 1 and No. 4 of KhNUIA took part in the sports competitions "Relay of Generations" dedicated to the Day of Defenders of Ukraine and the International Day of Older Persons.

A meeting of the Academic Council of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs was held under the chairmanship of Rector Valerii Sokurenko, Police General of the third rank. The meeting addressed a number of pressing issues of the higher education institution.
