Today there was a meeting of the Scientific Council of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, which, despite the challenges of the war, did not stop its work. The event was chaired by the Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs Kateryna Pavlichenko. The meeting is devoted to the topical issues of streamlining scientific activity, as well as the formation of the vertical of scientific support for the bodies of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

Associate Professor of the Department of Pedagogy and Psychology of the Faculty No. 3 of KhNUIA Viktoriia Dotsenko, together with representatives of Kharkiv Region Police Department No. 2 of the MDNP in Kharkiv Region, held an online career orientation meeting with students of the 11-B class of Secondary School No. 61 in Kharkiv. 23 students of the graduating class joined the online communication.

Representatives of the "Plast" scouting organization congratulated the staff and cadets of Faculties No. 1 and No. 4 of KhNUIA on Christmas and handed over the Bethlehem flame of peace. This is an international annual scouting campaign for Christmas celebrations, which consists in spreading the symbolic fire lit at the birthplace of Jesus Christ by scouts around the world.

Scientific and methodological recommendations for units of the National Police of Ukraine "Using in criminal proceedings information obtained as a result of secret investigative (search) actions" prepared by the author's team, which included representatives of the Department of Criminal Procedure and Organization of Pretrial Investigation of the Faculty No. 1 and the Main investigative department of the National Police of Ukraine, were published.

As part of the marathon of Christmas and New Year events #Sviatoobiednuie, cadets of Faculties No. 1 and No. 4 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs took part in quests for student youth, organized by the State Archive of Khmelnytskyi region. The marathon, the purpose of which is to familiarize young people with archival documents from the history of the Khmelnytskyi region, is being held at the initiative of the head of Khmelnytskyi Regional Military Administration, a member of the Supervisory Board of Khmelnytskyi Military Academy Serhii Hamalii.

The staff and cadets of Faculties No. 2 and No. 3 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs visited one of the medical institutions of Vinnytsia region, where servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine are being treated after injuries. The cadets congratulated the soldiers on the winter holidays and gave them New Year's gifts.

Valerii Matus, a lecturer of the Department of Legal Disciplines of Sumy branch of KhNUIA, took part in the II All-Ukrainian scientific and practical conference on the occasion of the International Human Rights Day with the theme "The rights of prisoners of war in the global system of human rights".

Professor of the Department of Pedagogy and Psychology of the Faculty No. 3 Svitlana Kharchenko and Associate Professor of the Department of Pedagogy and Psychology of the Faculty No. 3 Viktoriia Dotsenko together with a psychologist Olena Abramenko and a senior psychologist of the Department of Education of the Kharkiv District Police Department No. 2 of the MDNP in Kharkiv region Oksana Shtypa held a psycho-prophylactic discussion for cadets of 2-4 years of faculties No. 1-4 of KhNUIA, who are undergoing training practice/internship.

Vice-rector of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, police colonel Serhii Bortnyk, briefed the permanent and changing staff on the eve of the New Year holidays. The vice-rector emphasized the strict compliance with the requirements of the laws of Ukraine, traffic rules, traffic discipline, etc.

Svitlana Kharchenko, professor of the Department of Pedagogy and Psychology, Faculty No. 3 of KhNUIA, held a career orientation meeting with Hanna Vlasova, the director of Kharkiv Secondary School of Grades I-III No. 151 of Kharkiv City Council of Kharkiv Region.
