In the TV program "For the time being" on the municipal TV channel "VITA TV", Rector of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs Valerii Sokurenko spoke about the specialties offered by the university to young men and women who decided to become students of the university and entered the Faculty No. 6 to obtain one of the current specialties.

Instructional and methodological classes were held with junior commanders selected from among the cadets of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs for the camp training in 2023. The requirements of the regulations on the status of junior commanders in Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs and their functional responsibilities, on the organization of internal regulations in Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, organization of service, personnel accounting and control during the day were explained.

Today, on August 4, at the Ministry of Internal Affairs, on behalf of the Head of the Ministry, Ihor Klymenko, analysts of the National Police of Ukraine, cadets, and academic staff of the National Academy of Internal Affairs and Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs were presented with letters of appreciation for their work on the "Potier.NET" project.

Oksana Brusakova, Dean of the Faculty No. 6 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, held a working meeting on the admission campaign - 2023 at the North-Eastern Interregional Department for the Execution of Sentences, which powers extend to the territory of Kharkiv, Luhansk, Poltava and Sumy regions. 

The event was attended by the Rector of the University Valerii Sokurenko, Vice-Rector Serhii Bortnyk, heads of faculties, structural subdivisions of the university, and Sumy branch. Addressing the future commanders, the Rector of the university emphasized that their main mission in the process of adaptation of freshmen to new conditions is a personal example.

Yuliia Zahumenna, Professor of the Department of Theory and History of State and Law, Faculty No. 1, took part in a webinar on the topic "The Power of Social Media in the Professional Development of a University Lecturer". During the webinar, the participants explored the importance of creating a personal brand of a lecturer, promoting values through social networks and using them in the educational process.

This is the first issue of the collection after its inclusion in the list of scientific professional publications of Ukraine (legal sciences, specialties - 081, 262), in which the results of dissertations for the degree of Doctor of Sciences, Candidate of Sciences and Doctor of Philosophy, category "B" may be published (Order of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine of 20.06.2023 No. 768).

Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs is actively involved in the implementation of the "No Barriers" project by opening a Driving School for people with disabilities. The project is implemented by the Ministry of Internal Affairs at the initiative of the First Lady of Ukraine Olena Zelenska. As Russia's aggression against Ukraine continues, the problem of social adaptation of combatants, many of whom have been injured and left with disabilities, is extremely acute.

Within the framework of the CRYPTOEDGE project, which is being implemented with the support of the US Embassy in Ukraine, Vitalii Nosov, Professor of the Department of Cybercrime Counteraction of the Faculty № 4, took part as an expert trainer in a series of trainings of the second stage of the course for investigators.
