From May to July 2023, cadets of higher education institutions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs were involved in measures to ensure public safety and order during the martial law in Zakarpattia and Chernivtsi regions.

Oleksandr Marunchak, head of the Driving School for Persons with Disabilities at Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, held a working meeting with Inna Abdulkadyrova, head of the Humenetska territorial community of Kamianets-Podilskyi district.

The delegation of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) in Ukraine announces an essay contest on the topic "Neutrality: an obstacle or a catalyst for effective humanitarian action?" for undergraduate, graduate and postgraduate students, as well as young scientists (under 35).

Volodymyr Kroitor, Professor of the Department of Civil Law and Procedure of the Faculty No. 6, took part in the VII International Forum "Mediation and Law" held on the ZOOM platform. He attended events on the following topics: "Singapore Convention: Prospects for Ratification"; "Communication: How and Why? Specifics of Mediation Communication"; "Implementation of the Law of Ukraine on Mediation: Priorities of Wartime and Post-War"; "Peculiarities of Non-Verbal Communication".

During the working meeting, the rector of the university Valerii Sokurenko, on behalf of the Academic Council, the administration, the university staff and himself, congratulated Oleksandr Morhunov on his appointment to a high position, wished him success and inspiration to fulfill the tasks set by the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the state leadership.

Representatives of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs took part in a training for employees of the course level of higher education institutions with specific learning conditions that belong to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine.

Krystyna Koval, a 3rd year cadet of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, participated in the NAСBU Anti-Corruption School 2023. A total of 592 applications were submitted for the Anti-Corruption School, but only 50 participants were selected from across the country.

From July 1, 2023, the registration of applicants' electronic offices will begin on the special all-Ukrainian website "Applicant's Electronic Office", which is provided by the State Enterprise "Inforesource": https://cabinet.edbo.gov.ua/login.

Khmelnytskyi TV channel TV7+ aired a news story about the Driving School for people with disabilities, which operates at Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs in Kamianets-Podilskyi. The driving school already has 30 students, including four people with disabilities. Valentyn Horbachevskyi, a combatant who took part in the training and successfully passed the exams at the Territorial Service Center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, was the first to attend the school.

The staff of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs expresses condolences to the family and friends of Oleksandr Holub, a well-known journalist in Ukraine, Kharkiv resident who for many years headed Kharkiv regional organization of the Union of Journalists of Ukraine.
