Internship in the position of cadets of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs in the practical units of the National Police of Ukraine continues. They are not left out of the attention and support of university lecturers.

Every year on January 27, the international community commemorates the victims of the Holocaust, one of the greatest tragedies in human history. A video lecture "Holocaust. Its influence on the modern world and Ukraine" was held for applicants for higher education of Faculties No. 1 and No. 4 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs.

An online meeting of the scientific circle of the Department of Legal Support of Entrepreneurial Activity and Financial Security of the Faculty No. 6 of KhNUIA was held, in which members of the scientific circle of the department, who are studying at the Faculty No. 6 in the specialty "Finance, banking and insurance", and representatives of the department took part: Yuliia Kyrychenko, Victoriia Fursa and Daria Korobtsova.

Volodymyr Nemykin, a cadet of the 3rd year of the Faculty No. 1 of KhNUIA, took part in the city championship in checkers among schoolchildren and students, held on the occasion of the Day of Unity of Ukraine. The competition was organized by the Department of Humanitarian Policy of Kamianets-Podilskyi City Council. The cadet took second place and was awarded a silver medal and a diploma.

According to the results of the training practice and in order to check the level of assimilation of the knowledge defined by the practice program among the cadets of the 3rd year of Faculty No. 2 (081 "Law"), the practice materials were defended using the elements of a police quest.

Associate Professor of the Department of Criminal Procedure, Forensics and Expert Studies of the Faculty No. 6 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, Candidate of Psychological Sciences, Associate Professor Svitlana Lozova completed the online course "Basic Psychological Assistance in War Conditions" and received the appropriate certificate.

Representatives of the student-cadet self-government of Sumy branch of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, 1st-year cadets Viktoriia Yarova, Alina Shevchenko, Anastasiia Zamiatkina and Andrii Levchenko took part in the city event "120 minutes about youth opportunities".

Rector of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs Valerii Sokurenko introduced to the team the new vice-rector Oleksandr Muzychuk, who will be in charge of scientific work. As the Rector noted, "Oleksandr Mykolaiovych is a demanding and principled person, I rely on his professionalism, knowledge and skills".

For students of higher education of all faculties of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, the Department of Social and Humanitarian Work conducted a video lecture with the aim of promoting a healthy lifestyle, preventing the use of alcohol and narcotic substances, as well as the harmfulness of smoking.

Another meeting of the scientific circle of the Department of Pedagogy and Psychology of the Faculty No. 3 of KhNUIA was held. The head of the department of pedagogy and psychology, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor Olena Fedorenko discussed with the cadets psychological technologies for managing stress and post-traumatic stress disorder, which is extremely relevant in modern conditions.
