A binary lesson in the discipline “Pre-trial Investigation” for cadets of the ERI №1 on the topic “The beginning of the pre-trial investigation” was conducted by Alina Kosovska, an investigator of Kamianets-Podilskyi Department of the Main Department of the National Police in Khmelnytskyi region, and Alina Piddubna, an Associate Professor of the Department of Criminal Procedure and Organization of Pre-trial Investigation.

Pre-medical training is an important part of police officer's professional skills

Representatives of the regional branch of the Ukrainian Red Cross Society in Khmelnytskyi region conducted a 6-hour training on first aid training with the staff of the ERI №1. During the training, the participants got acquainted with the algorithm of actions of the rescuer who is the first to arrive at the scene, as well as the procedure for providing first aid.

Odesa half marathon united those who care for an important cause

The charity race “The Independence Half-Marathon”, which took place along the historic streets of Odesa, was attended by supporters of an active lifestyle, strong and unbreakable people from all over Ukraine and the world. Representatives of KhNUIA - students of the ERI №1 Nazar Poliienko and Yevhen Koniaiev - also joined the race.

Victory in the regional kickboxing championship WAKO

In the WAKO kickboxing championship of Khmelnytskyi region among children's and youth sports schools and sports clubs, the first places were won by applicants for higher education of the Educational and Research Institute №1: 2nd year cadets Roman Pshenychnyi in the weight category up to 81 kg and Roman Savchuk in the weight category up to 63 kg, 3rd year cadet Nazar Los in the weight category up to 67 kg.

Foreign scientific and pedagogical internships as an element of integration of KhNUIA into the world intellectual context

Kseniia Yurtaieva, Associate Professor of the Department of Criminal Law and Criminology, Institute of Criminal Justice, participated in the Scholars at Risk Program during 2022-2024 with the support of the Weiser Center for Europe and Eurasia, University of Michigan (Ann Arbor, Michigan, USA).

Kyrylo Cherevko, Associate Professor of the Department of Criminal Law and Criminology at the ERI No. 1, took the course “Introduction to War Crimes Investigation” conducted by the Commission on International Justice and Accountability for police practitioners and teachers of higher education institutions with specific training conditions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

For the students of the ERI No. 1, the class was conducted by Vitalii Kavkalo, Head of the Human Rights Sector of Kamianets-Podilskyi District Police Department of the Main Department of the National Police in Khmelnytskyi Region, and Olena Martovytska, Professor of the Department of Criminal Procedure and Organization of Pre-trial Investigation.

 For the students of the ERI No. 2, the lesson was conducted by Olha Mazur, an employee of the Investigation Department of the Main Department of the National Police in Vinnytsia Region, together with Oleksandr Yukhno, Professor of the Department of Criminalistics, Forensic Science and Pre-medical Training of the Educational and Research Institute No. 1.
