The Ukrainian Sambo Cup among men and women in the sports and combat divisions was held in the city of Chernivtsi. Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs was represented at the competition by the 3rd year cadet of the Educational and Research Institute No. 1 Danil DZOBA.

To mark the International Day of Peace, a roundtable discussion was held at Educational and Research Institute No. 1 on the topic "Is peace possible without force?", the participants of which discussed the modern understanding of peace and the importance of force - both defensive and moral - in the process of achieving and preserving it.

Cadets of the ERI No. 1 joined an online webinar on the topic "Peer review of scientific publications: from traditional models to open science", which took place as part of the International Peer Review Week. They learned about the evolution of peer review and its role in shaping academic integrity.

Associate Professor of the Department of Administrative Law and Process Valentyna YATSENKO and Head of Sector CPO No. 2 of CP PDD of the Main Department of Internal Affairs of Khmelnytskyi Region Oleh HORBANIUK held a lesson on the discipline "Procedures on Citizens' Appeals in the Activities of Preventive Activities Units."

As part of non-formal (informal) education, first-year cadets of the ERI No. 1 took an online course on academic integrity on the VUM platform, the goal of which is to form a culture of honesty and responsibility in the educational environment.

Associate Professor of the Department of Criminal Law and Criminology of the ERI No. 1, Candidate of Law, Associate Professor Ksenia YURTAIEVA participated in the preparation of the course "Disinformation as a Means of Hybrid Warfare", which is being developed at the Bavarian Police Institute (Federal Republic of Germany).

Senior lecturer of the Department of Criminal Law and Criminology of the ERI No. 1 Yulia INSHEKOVA, together with the investigator of the investigative department of the police department No. 1 of Pervomaiskyi district police department of the Main Police Department of Mykolaiv region Victoria BILA, conducted a lesson on the subject "Fundamentals of Criminal Law".

A solemn ceremony was held at Educational and Research Institute No. 1 to honor cadets with Gratitude from the leadership of the Investigation Department of the Main Police Department in Kharkiv region for their dedication to service and significant contribution to documenting crimes of armed aggression against Ukraine.

A binary lesson on tactical and special training was held for students on the topic "General information about the procedure for identifying explosive objects." The event was organized by scientific and pedagogical workers of the Department of Tactical and Special Training of the ERI No. 2 Volodymyr YEVTUSHOK and Serhii KUCHYNSKYI.

At the initiative of the cadet council of the ERI No. 1, an educational brain-ring on the topic "Cinema of Ukraine" was held, in which teams of first-, second-, and third-year cadets participated. During the intellectual competition, the participants demonstrated their knowledge of Ukrainian cinema, the history of cinema, and modern Ukrainian films.
