Professor of the Department of Criminal Law and Criminology of the ERI No. 5 Victoria DAVYDENKO took part in the webinar "Scientific Publications in Scopus and Category B Journals", which was held by the scientific and educational center of the company "Scientific Publications".

Associate Professor of the Department of Law Enforcement Activities Daria HLUSHKOVA, together with the Head of Kharkiv District Department No. 3 of the Branch of the State Institution "Probation Center" in Kharkiv Region Svetlana DIEDYK, held a binary lecture on the topic "Activities of Justice Bodies in the Field of Reforming the Penitentiary System and Probation" for students of study groups of the ERI No. 5.

Professor of the Department of Law Enforcement Activities of the ERI No. 5 Olena SYNIAVSKA and senior lecturer of the Department of Constitutional and International Law and Human Rights Natalia FILIPSKA conducted a binary lesson in the discipline "Fundamentals of Legal Knowledge" in a mixed format for cadets of the ERI No. 4.

The event was held by the Director of the Educational and Research Institute No. 5, Oksana BRUSAKOVA, together with the Deputy Director, Daria KOROBTSOVA. The participants discussed important issues of organizing the educational process, observing academic discipline, in particular, the level of academic success of higher education applicants.

Associate Professor of the Department of Civil Law and Procedure of the ERI No. 5 Nataliia KHODIEIEVA underwent advanced training under the program "Quality Management of Higher Education in Modern Conditions". The program provided for mastering the theoretical and practical aspects of quality management of the educational process, assessing the quality of education in higher education institutions taking into account international experience.

A student of the Educational and Research Institute No. 5 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, Lev KOSIV, took part in the VI International Scientific Conference "Current Issues of the Development of Branches of Science", which took place in the city of Vinnytsia.

On the occasion of UNESCO World Day, which is celebrated annually on November 4, employees of the Social and Humanitarian Work Department held information and educational hours dedicated to the activities of UNESCO for students of the Educational and Research institutes No. 1-5, Sumy branch and Kremenchuk Flight College.

Students of higher education at the Educational and Research Institute No. 5, majoring in Law, visited Kamianets-Podilskyi City District Court of Khmelnytskyi Oblast. During the visit, students had the opportunity to attend a real court session, get acquainted with the procedure for considering cases, and see the implementation of the principles of justice in practice.

A lecture on providing first aid in the event of an epileptic seizure was held for the staff of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs. The event was held as part of the classes "Providing first aid to students with special educational needs."

Students studying in the specialty "Law" visited Saltivskyi District Court of Kharkiv. This form of education is an important component of their professional training. During the event, future lawyers became listeners of a real court session presided over by Judge Natalia NOVICHENKO.
