
On the occasion of Children's Day, the active members of the cadet and student self-government of KhNUIA gave the pupils of the sponsored institutions not only warmth, attention and joy, but also a piece of their heart and sincere smiles. Cadets and students of the ERI No. 1-5, Sumy branch and Kremenchuk Flight College visited children from privileged categories.

Students of the Educational and Research Institute No. 5 took part in a solemn event on the occasion of International Student Day, which took place in Kharkiv with the participation of Oleh SYNIEHUBOV, Head of the Kharkiv RMA, Rectors of leading higher education institutions of region and representatives of the youth of Kharkiv region.

Deputy Director of the Educational and Research Institute No. 5 Ella TVERDOKHLIB held a regular meeting of curators of study groups, during which they considered the key aspects of the curators' activities in the current academic year. Particular attention was focused on the requirements for filling out the curator's journal and the timeliness of making entries.

Leading Specialist in scientific work of the Kharkiv Scientific Research Forensic Center of the MIA of Ukraine Serhii STRILETS, together with Professor of the Department of Criminal Procedure, Forensics and Expertology of the Educational and Research Institute No. 5 Valerii PCHOLKIN, conducted a binary lesson on the discipline "Criminalistics" for third-year students.

In order to develop critical thinking and improve media literacy skills, Associate Professor of the Department of Humanities and Ukrainian Studies, Candidate of Philological Sciences, Nataliia KOBYLKO, as a certified trainer, conducted the anti-fake intellectual game "NotaEnota" for psychology students.

At the initiative of the Director of the Educational and Research Institute No. 5, Oksana BRUSAKOVA, an online meeting of students was held with a serviceman of the legendary 92nd separate assault brigade named after Kosh Otaman Ivan Sirko, Serhii KOZUB, call sign "Guide".

Professor Tetyana KYRYCHENKO of the Department of Civil Law and Procedure of the Educational and Research Institute No. 5 gave a career guidance lecture to students of O.O. Morozov Kharkiv Mechanical and Technical Applied College and Kharkiv Automobile-and-Road Applied College. The topic of the lecture was ‘The role of the police and court in protecting victims of violence.’

After the elections, a conference of higher education applicants was held at Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, at which the election commission announced the results of the election of the heads of the councils of the cadet and student self-government of the Educational and Research Institutes No. 1-5 and Sumy branch of KhNUIA.

Within the framework of the Declaration on Cooperation between Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs and Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań (Poland), Ukrainian and Polish scientists held a series of lectures and seminars on the topic "Historical-Legal and Criminological-Educational Discourse of Ukrainian-Polish Relations."

The online event was opened by the Leading Specialist of the International Cooperation Department of KhNUIA Nataliia SADOVA. She emphasized the importance of International Students' Day for Ukraine and recalled the history of its origin, which is associated with the tragic events of November 17, 1939 in the Czech Republic, when the Nazis arrested students and shot the leaders of the student movement. It was in their honor that this International Day was founded in 1941.
