Associate Professors of the Department of Law Enforcement of the ERI No. 5 Ihor PANOV, Stanislav PEVKO and Olena DOVHAN visited Kamianets-Podilskyi Lyceum "Slavutynka", met with the management and high school students. They spoke about the advantages of studying at Kharkiv Police University, in particular about the peculiarities of studying at the Educational and Research Institute No. 5.

In the scientific circle "Actual Problems of Criminal Procedure, Forensics and Expertology" of the Department of Criminal Procedure, Forensics and Expertology of the ERI No. 5 of KhNUIA, active work continues on the preparation of scientific publications. Student Mariia VARICHUK prepared abstracts of the report "The Use of Forensic Molecular Genetic Examination in the Investigation of War Crimes".

Students of the Educational and Research Institute No. 5 visited Kamianets-Podilskyi Special School of Khmelnytskyi region within the framework of cooperation with the patronized institution. This meeting was a good opportunity to communicate, support each other and express gratitude to our defenders together.

Students of higher education of the Department of Cyber Security and DATA Technologies of the ERI of KhNUIA took part in the V International Scientific and Practical Conference "Student Conference Information, Functional and Cyber Security".

A guest lecture was held for students of higher education at the bachelor's and master's levels of the ERI №5 on the topic «Detection, Counteraction and Pre-trial Investigation of Cybercrimes under Martial Law». The speakers of the event were Artur CHEKHYCHYN and Serhii MANDRICH, Senior Investigators of the ID of the MDNP in Kharkiv region.

The Educational and Research Institute No. 5 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, despite the difficult situation in the country, successfully held the first round of the online Olympiad «Young Lawyer». More than 100 students of grades 10-11 from general educational institutions of Kharkiv, Sumy and Poltava regions took part in the competition.

University students successfully completed an introductory online course on the basic principles of psychology for working with traumas of children and adults, created as part of the initiative of the First Lady of Ukraine Olena Zelenska. The course covered nine substantive topics, which collected the most relevant world approaches to providing high-quality psychological support.

Associate Professor of the Department of Criminal Procedure, Forensics and Expertology of the ERI No. 5 Oleksandra KOCHURA and lawyer Oleksandr RAZUMOVSKYI held an online binary lesson for students on the topic "Proceedings for the Review of Court Decisions".

Table tennis competitions were held at Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, which united cadets and students around sports drive and fair play. Previously, qualifying stages were held in each institute, according to the results of which teams of three participants were formed, who presented the ERI No. 1-5.

Students of the Educational and Research Institute №5, together with Deputy Director Vita PASHKO, took part in an important humanitarian initiative – donating blood and its components for those in need of help. This is not just an act of kindness, but real support and a chance to save someone's life.
