As part of the annual World Action "16 Days Against Violence" and on the occasion of the International Human Rights Day, with the assistance of the management of the Faculty No. 4 and the Department of Constitutional and International Law, an online meeting with the judge of the European Court Mykola Hnatovskyi was organized for students of higher education of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs.
The Department of Social and Humanitarian Work organized the event "Euro-Atlantic Integration of Ukraine: History and Present" for the applicants for higher education of the Faculties No. 2 and No. 3 of KhNUIA. It was held at Vinnytsia Regional Universal Scientific Library named after V. Otamanovskyi.
Under the chairmanship of the Head of the Department of Ukrainian Studies of the Faculty № 2, Doctor of Philology, Professor Ihor Chornyi, a meeting of the departmental scientific circle dedicated to the 90th anniversary of the Holodomor of 1932-1933 was held. The event was held in the form of a round table. The students read out scientific reports, accompanied by video presentations.
Representatives of the Faculties 3 and 4 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs watched the documentary 89 Days from the repertoire of the Traveling International Human Rights Documentary Film Festival Docudays UA.
Representatives of KhNUIA - Deputy Deans for Educational and Methodological Work of the Faculty No. 2 Serhii Hirenko and Faculty No. 3 Hryhorii Dzhahupov, together with cadets of the faculties studying in the specialties "Law" and "Psychology", held a career guidance meeting with students of three graduating classes of Vinnytsia Lyceum No. 4 named after D. I. Mendelieiev.
As part of career guidance activities, Oksana Melnychuk, Associate Professor of the Department of Social and Economic Disciplines of the Faculty № 2, and Diana Kirika, Associate Professor of the Department of Police and Public Administration of the Faculty № 3, met with 11th grade students of Rukshynskyi Lyceum in Chernivtsi region.
Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs hosted a competition in the e-sports discipline "Counter Strike 1.6", in which 16 teams of the Faculties No. 2 and No. 3 took part.
Higher education applicants of the Faculties 2 and 3 of KhNUIA took part in the information and educational event "Causes and Spiritual and Moral Consequences of the Holodomor in Ukraine" held in Vinnytsia Regional Scientific Universal Library named after V. Otamanovskyi.
During the meeting of the Academic Council, the employees and students of the University were awarded. Rector of the University, Police General of the third rank Valerii Sokurenko presented the awards and wished them new achievements in their official and professional activities.
The event was held in support of those who have experienced or are experiencing traumatic experiences related to the hostilities in Ukraine to draw attention to crimes of violence committed by the Russian military.
