This was the topic of a binary lesson for students of the ERI No. 5, which was conducted by Oleksandr Kolomiitsev, Leading Researcher of the Weapons and Explosives Research Sector of the National Scientific Centre ‘Bokarius Institute of Forensic Expertise’.
Nataliia Kobylko, Associate Professor of the Department of Humanities and Ukrainian Studies, Candidate of Philological Sciences, introduced the first-year students studying Psychology to the history of the educational institution, which dates back to 1917.

Svitlana Lozova, Associate Professor of the Department of Criminal Procedure, Criminalistics and Forensics of the Educational and Research Institute No. 5 of KhNUIA, Candidate of Psychological Sciences, Associate Professor, completed a professional development course at the European University on the topic ‘Digital Transformation of Higher Education’.
The curators of the study groups of the ERI No. 5 introduced students to the concept and main types of bullying as a social phenomenon that negatively affects the educational environment and youth development. They considered the most common manifestations of bullying and ways to overcome them.
Within the framework of the annual All-Ukrainian action ‘16 Days Against Violence’, Mykola Holub, Professor of the Department of Law Enforcement of the ERI №5, together with Oleksii Lobur, Head of the Domestic Violence Sector of the Prevention Department of the Main Department of the National Police in Kharkiv Region, held a binary class of the discipline ‘Police Activity’.
Oksana Maliutina, Head of the Preparatory Department of the ERI No. 5, and Oleksandr Mishchenko, a leading specialist, discussed the prospects for further cooperation with Olha Demenko, Director of the Department of Education, and Volodymyr Lipeiko, Deputy Head of the Education Department of the Administration of Kyivskyi District of Kharkiv.
Anna Kovalenko, a 4th year student of the ERI No. 5, who is studying Law, held a series of lectures and discussions with 1-2 year students of the ERI No. 5, students of general secondary education institutions, employees of various institutions on their behaviour in case of detection of explosive objects, including bombs, mines, tripwires, etc.
Deputy Director Ella Tverdohlib, representatives of the Department of Legal Support of Entrepreneurial Activity and Financial Security, as well as the Preparatory Department, met with the students of the graduating classes of the "Rozsoshenska gymnasium of Shcherbanivska village council of Poltava district of Poltava region".
