At the initiative of the university's founder Oleksandr Bandurka and with the active support of Rector Valerii Sokurenko, the university's research paper competition "History of Law Enforcement" was launched in 2021.
The jury of the competition, which is being held for the third time, received 51 scientific works of cadets and students, from which 11 best ones were selected

On November 18, 2023, classes began at the Preparatory Department of the Faculty No. 6 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs. For 7.5 months, students will be preparing for admission to higher education institutions of Ukraine, primarily Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs.

Associate Professors Tetiana Kyrychenko and Mariia Naumenko, lecturers of the Department of Civil Law and Proceedings of the Faculty № 6 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, met with Inna Lebedieva, Director of Kharkiv Lyceum № 130 of Kharkiv City Council, as part of career guidance.

On the International Student's Day, which is celebrated annually on November 17, Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs held a ceremony of initiation of freshmen of the Faculty No. 6 into students.
