Professor Andrii Yashchenko, Professor of the Department of Criminal Law and Criminology of the Faculty No. 1, Professor Yuliia Kyrychenko, Professor of the Department of Legal Support of Entrepreneurial Activity and Financial Security of the Faculty No. 6, and members of the scientific circle of the same department took part in a roundtable discussion on "Law and Economy of Ukraine - Development Prospects".

On behalf of the Rector of the University, Police General of the third rank Valerii Sokurenko, the Dean of Faculty No. 6 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs Oksana Brusakova congratulated students whose parents died during the hostilities defending Ukraine from the Russian aggressor and children deprived of parental care on the upcoming Christmas and New Year holidays.

From December 4 to 10, the annual National Reading Week event organized by the Ukrainian Book Institute is taking place in Ukraine. This year's National Reading Week focuses on the figure of Mykola Khvylovyi, who celebrates his 130th birthday in December. The face of the writer from the generation of the Executed Renaissance can be seen on the posters of the campaign, and the slogan "To be our own" is dedicated to him.

Within the framework of the All-Ukrainian action "16 Days Against Violence", Yulia Tatarkina, Associate Professor of the Department of Criminal Law and Criminology of the Faculty № 6 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, conducted a binary class for students with the participation of Olesia Arseni, an employee of Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor's Office.

The meeting of the scientific club of the Department of Sociology and Psychology of the Faculty No. 6 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs was held as part of the All-Ukrainian action "16 Days Against Violence". Olena Shakhova and Natalia Hresa, Associate Professors of the Department and Head of the Scientific Club, who are psychologists of the Green Room, familiarized students with the peculiarities of psychologist's work with children who have suffered from violence.

Sofia Popova, Senior Lecturer of the Department of Civil Law and Procedure of the Faculty № 6 of KhNUIA, held an event at Zhydachiv Secondary School № 3 named after Omelian Partytskyi of Zhydachiv City Council of Lviv Region, dedicated to the All-Ukrainian Law Week.

A guest lecture on "Special regime of criminal proceedings under martial law (Article 615 of the CPC of Ukraine) and its direct application under martial law" was held for students of Faculty No. 6, by Senior Investigator of Kharkiv District Police Department No. 1 of the Main Department of the National Police in Kharkiv Region, Police Captain Kateryna Khmelivska.

Kateryna Mannapova, Associate Professor of the Department of Sociology and Psychology of the Faculty № 6 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, held an open lecture for students and teachers on the topic of cyberviolence as part of the All-Ukrainian action "16 Days Against Violence".

The International Anti-Corruption Day is celebrated on December 9 in connection with the anniversary of the opening for signature of the United Nations Convention against Corruption, which is one of the main international anti-corruption documents.
