Representatives of KhNUIA - Head of the Department of Pedagogy and Psychology Olena Fedorenko and Head of the Department of Psychological Support of the Correctional Facility Natalia Novikova - took part in the Seminar on Psychological Assistance for Professional Psychologists from Law Enforcement Agencies (Republic of Poland and Ukraine), organized by the European Union Advisory Mission.

Nataliia Filipska, Senior Lecturer at the Department of Constitutional and International Law, Faculty № 4, attended a lecture course by Mykhailo Savva, Doctor of Political Science, Professor, Member of the Expert Council of the Center for Civil Liberties, Professor at the Free University (Latvia), entitled "The Modern Russian Political Regime".

Participation in a workshop on international humanitarian law

Representatives of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs took part in a three-day workshop on international humanitarian law, investigation / procedural guidance in cases of shelling and crimes committed in probation authorities, OSINT.

Participation in the webinar on EU anti-corruption policy

Associate Professors of the Department of Administrative Law and Process of the Faculty No. 1 Iryna Kazanchuk and Valentyna Yatsenko took part in the webinar "Lessons from EU Anti-Corruption Policy for the Sustainable Development of Ukrainian Civil Society". The webinar was held under the EU AntiCor Project, funded by the EU under the J. Monnet line of the EU Erasmus + program.

Cooperation between KhNUIA and Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznan continues

Within the framework of the Declaration of Cooperation between Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznan (Republic of Poland) and Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, Bartosz Betka, Master of Law and Political Science, doctoral student of the Polish university, became the coordinator for communications.

University students improved their knowledge on cyber hygiene

Cadets and students of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs took part in a regular course on cyber hygiene developed by the OSCE Support Program for future law enforcement and rescue officers of Ukraine. The event was attended by Maksym Romanov, Deputy Head of the Department for Organization of Scientific Activities and Innovations - Head of the Organizational and Scientific Division of the Department of Education, Science and Sports of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine.

Volodymyr Kroitor, Professor of the Department of Civil Law and Procedure of the Faculty No. 6, took part in the VII International Forum "Mediation and Law" held on the ZOOM platform. He attended events on the following topics: "Singapore Convention: Prospects for Ratification"; "Communication: How and Why? Specifics of Mediation Communication"; "Implementation of the Law of Ukraine on Mediation: Priorities of Wartime and Post-War"; "Peculiarities of Non-Verbal Communication".

Participation of a university cadet in the NAСBU Anti-Corruption School

Krystyna Koval, a 3rd year cadet of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, participated in the NAСBU Anti-Corruption School 2023. A total of 592 applications were submitted for the Anti-Corruption School, but only 50 participants were selected from across the country.
