Among the participants were 11 teams from seven universities in the eastern region of Ukraine. For 12 hours, they solved 35 complex tasks to find and exploit vulnerabilities in various areas, such as web application security, applied cryptography, steganography, digital forensics, and open source intelligence.

On October 27, 2023, Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs will host a roundtable discussion on "Identification of corruption risks in the activities of the Ministry of Internal Affairs under martial law and post-war reconstruction of Ukraine".

The 2nd year cadets of the Faculty № 4 of KhNUIA, members of the scientific circle of the Department of Foreign Languages of the Faculty № 4 Kostiantyn Rotan and Artem Shymko took part in the XXXVII International Scientific and Practical Online Conference "Modern Aspects of Science Modernization: State, Problems, Development Trends", which was held in Aalborg (Denmark).

Within the framework of the cooperation agreement between Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs and Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznan (Republic of Poland), the visit of a delegation of scholars and cadets who participated in didactic classes in the field of mediation, negotiation and arbitration, including international arbitration during martial law, has been completed.

Students of the Faculty № 6 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs took part in the project "Solidarity Dialogues: Youth Against Propaganda and Disinformation", which is being implemented with the support of the "Dreaming and Acting" program.

A 4th year cadet of the Faculty No. 1 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, a member of the scientific circle of the Department of Criminal Law and Criminology and a participant of the School of Scientific Leadership, Krystyna Koval, took part in the International Conference "Criminal Justice in the Vortex of Time - Future Prospects (Development Trends) in Latvia and the World", held at the State Police College in Riga (Latvia).

Valentyna Pochuieva, Associate Professor of the Department of Foreign Languages of the Faculty No. 4, and Artem Bilousov, Senior Lecturer of the Department, attended the International Online Webinar "Lesson planning and classroom management" from Cambridge University Press and Assessment and Linguist, which covered the following issues: the benefits of lesson planning, models of English classes and strategies for managing the audience to achieve better results.

Natalia Sadova, Leading Specialist of the Department of International Cooperation of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, took part in the webinar "Foreign Campuses: Experience and Prerequisites for Functioning in Poland and Ukraine".

The final conference of the project "European Regional Partnership for Gender Equality in the Digital Age" (EQUALS-EU) of the Horizon 2020 program took place in Riga (Latvia).

The purpose of the forum is to consolidate the actions of government authorities, local governments, international organizations, public associations, social partners, other representatives of civil society, institutions, agencies and organizations in various fields to ensure equal rights and opportunities for women and men for the sustainable development of territorial communities.
