A series of webinars from the European Union Advisory Mission Ukraine has completed in Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs

Webinars in English for higher education applicants, researchers and academic staff of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, Sumy branch and Kremenchuk Flight College, were conducted weekly with consecutive translations into Ukrainian by the EUAM Field Office in Kharkiv during September and October.

KhNUIA has launched the implementation of Horizon 2020 EQUALS-EU project “European Regional Partnership on Gender Equality in the Digital Age”

The project is based on the EU Gender Equality Strategy 2020-2025, which envisions the creation of Europe as a place where both women and men are equal, where diversity is a recognized asset for the economy and society. However, an effective mechanism for strategy implementation to eliminate gender inequality and implement non-discriminatory practices has not been developed yet.

Online webinar “Psychological aspects in police work” with support of the Regional Headquarters of the European Union Advisory Mission in Kharkiv was held at Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs. The event organized by the Department of International Cooperation of the University was conducted in English with consecutive translation into Ukrainian.

Management, research and teaching staff and students of the faculty № 6 listened to an online lecture of Doctor at the University of Occupational Safety Management in Katowice (WSZOP) Arkadiush Shain "Dermatoscopy in the science of crime detection - Selected Aspects".

Webinar on the topic “Participation in the competitions of projects of European grant programs” was held at Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs in online mode on the Zoom platform with the participation of representatives of the European Union Research and Innovation program “Horizon 2020”.

Meeting-presentation with a live broadcast from the Republic of Poland was held in KhNUIA

Online event “Polish training center – presentation of the Road Trafficking Department” with the participation of representatives of the Center for Police Training in Legionowo (the Republic of Poland) was held in Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs. The event was organized with the support of the EUAM Field Office in Kharkiv City.

The concept of Community Policing

The regular webinar on “The concept of Community Policing ” took place at Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs. The webinar was held in English with the consecutive translation into Ukrainian. The event was attended by applicants of higher education, the scientific and scientific-pedagogical staff of the University and its separate structural units - Sumy Branch and Kremenchuk Flight College.

 

Cadets of KhNUIA study best practices in approaching to domestic violence

The second-year cadets of Faculty № 4 together with the Head of the Foreign Languages Department of Faculty № 1 Olena Orlova took part in the webinar "Domestic Violence: Raising Awareness and Best Practices" organized by the University's International Cooperation Department with the support of the European Union Advisory Mission in Ukraine.

Participation of a representative of Kremenchug Flight College in the scientific online internship "Academic Integrity" held in Warsaw

Maryna Petchenko, Candidate of Economic Sciences, Head of the Research Department of Kremenchug Flight College of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, completed an online scientific internship on "Academic Integrity" organized by the Polish-Ukrainian Foundation "Institute of International Academic and Scientific Cooperation" on the base of Higher Theological Seminary (UKSW) in Warsaw, Poland.
