Head of the Department of Humanities and Ukrainian Studies, Doctor of Historical Sciences, Professor, Honored Worker of Education of Ukraine Volodymyr Hrechenko remotely participated in the III International Scientific and Theoretical Conference "Current Scientific Goals, Approaches and Challenges", which took place in the capital of Latvia, Riga.

Svitlana Lozova, Associate Professor of the Department of Criminal Procedure, Criminalistics and Forensic Science of the ERI № 5, PhD in Psychology, Associate Professor, took part in the International Scientific and Practical Conference “Forensic Expert Activity: Problems, Strategies and Innovations”.

Scopus database indexed the 500th publication of KhNUIA! Compared to previous years, the largest number of scientific articles of KhNUIA - 93 publications - was indexed by Scopus in 2024. This indicates a high level of scientific activity of the university staff.

Representatives of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs and NGOs from Dnipro and Kharkiv regions took part in an online meeting on the topic “The role of the National Police Educational Security Service in countering and preventing bullying in educational institutions”.

The IV All-Ukrainian scientific and practical conference, dedicated to the topical issues of protecting human rights and freedoms in the modern world, was attended by the Head of the department of postgraduate (adjunct) and doctoral studies, Professor of the Department of Administrative Activities, Candidate of Legal Sciences, Associate Professor Volodymyr Ivantsov and Associate Professor of the Department Daniil Zinchenko.

The next meeting of the scientific circle "Cyberscientist" was held, at which the work of the circle for the first half of the 2024/2025 academic year was summarized and the immediate goals for the next one were determined. The meeting was opened by the Head of the scientific circle, Associate Professor of the Department Volodymyr Tulupov.

The kick-off meeting of the International Research Consortium on the project "Children-Online", which is implemented within the framework of the SafeOnline program, took place in the city of Krakow. KhNUIA was presented by the Head of the Research laboratory for social and psychological support, assistance and rehabilitation of employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the ERI No. 3 Oleksii Serdiuk.

The issues of educational, scientific work and life of the higher education institution were discussed at a meeting of the Academic Council chaired by Rector Valerii Sokurenko. He awarded the university staff and congratulated everyone on the upcoming New Year.

This was the topic of the conference, which was attended by cadets studying Psychology together with Svitlana Kharchenko, Professor of the Department of Psychology, Sociology and Pedagogy of the ERI №3.

According to the results of the first year of work, the annual plenary meeting of the International Research Consortium on the RESONANT project “Interdisciplinary Research Cooperation on Foreign Interference, Suppression and Manipulation of Information in Diaspora Communities”, implemented under the Horizon Europe program, was held in Munich.
