A meeting of the scientific club of the Department of Criminal Law and Criminology of the Faculty № 6 was held. The new members of the group were familiarized with the Regulations on the Scientific Group of Cadets, Students and Master's Students, and elected a head and a secretary.

Within the framework of the Agreement on Cooperation between Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs and Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznan (Republic of Poland), a delegation of scholars and cadets of KhNUIA takes part in the scientific conference "Didactic classes in the field of mediation, negotiation and arbitration, in particular international arbitration during martial law". 

The round table "Countering Cybercrime in Ukraine: Current Status, Peculiarities in the Conditions of War and Forecasting for the Post-War Period" was held on the basis of Odesa State University of Internal Affairs. Valerii Sokurenko, Rector of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, Doctor of Law, Professor, Corresponding Member of the National Academy of Legal Sciences of Ukraine, Honored Lawyer of Ukraine, Police General of the third rank, welcomed the participants of the event.

The Head of the Research Laboratory on Psychological Support of Law Enforcement, Police Lieutenant Colonel Oleksii Serdiuk took part in the 23rd Annual Conference of the European Society of Criminology EUROCRIM 2023, a pre-conference seminar and a meeting of editors of a special issue of the European Journal of Criminology dedicated to the war in Ukraine, held in Florence (Italy).

Vitalii Naida, Head of the School of Scientific Leadership of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, held organizational meetings with the first-year students of the Faculty № 6 and Kremenchuk Flight College on the prospects for the participation of students in the scientific life of the university in a mixed (online and offline) format.

Oleksandr Avdieiev, Associate Professor of the Department of Criminal Law and Criminology of the Faculty No. 1 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, took part in the XXXVI International Scientific and Practical Conference "Modern problems and the latest theories of development" held in Munich (Germany).

The first lesson of the School of Scientific Leadership in the new academic year was devoted to the topic "Promising areas of work of students at the School of Scientific Leadership of the University".

Svitlana Lozova, Associate Professor of the Department of Criminal Procedure, Criminalistics and Forensics of the Faculty № 6 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, Candidate of Psychological Sciences, Associate Professor, took part online in the annual conference of the European Society of Criminology EUROCRIM 2023 (pre-conference workshop) - 23 Annual Conference of the European Society of Criminology (Florence).

Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs hosted an organizational meeting of Vitalii Naida, Head of the School of Scientific Leadership, with the first-year students of Faculty No. 2 on the participation of cadets in the scientific life of the university.

The academic staff of the Department of Foreign Languages of the Faculty № 4 of KhNUIA - Head of the Department Olena Stativka, Associate Professors of the same Department Oleh Honcharuk, Valentyna Kochyna, Valentyna Pochuieva, Senior Lecturers Artem Bilousov and Larysa Sazanova - attended the conference for English teachers from the Polyglot Language Center "Bright start for smart teachers 2.0".
