A meeting of the Academic Council of the University was held under the chairmanship of the Rector, Police General of the third rank Valerii Sokurenko. The meeting was attended by the Head of the Main Department of the National Police in Vinnytsia region, Police Colonel Yurii Parkhomenko, who is a member of the Academic Council.
The event was dedicated to the 29th anniversary of the University and the 106th anniversary of the beginning of law enforcement training in Kharkiv region. The conference was attended by the State Secretary of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Inna Yashchuk and the Rector of the University Valerii Sokurenko.
The work of the scientific club "Actual Problems of Criminal Procedure, Criminalistics and Expertology" continues, within which scientific reports and articles are being prepared. Inna Blahadyr, a student of the Faculty No. 6, prepared abstracts on the topic "The use of footprints and footwear in the investigation of crimes"
Nataliia Horbach, Senior Lecturer of the Department of Foreign Languages of the Faculty № 4 of KhNUIA, prepared and conducted a roundtable discussion in English on the topic "Methods of Investigating a Crime in English Literature" for cadets of the Faculties № 2 and № 3. The event was attended by Ihor Nazarenko, Dean of the Faculty № 2, Hennadii Zvirianskyi, Dean of the Faculty № 3, and deputy deans.
Professor of the Department of Criminal Law and Criminology of the Faculty No. 6 Viacheslav Yemelianov and senior lecturer of the same department Yuliia Mytrofanova took part in the All-Ukrainian Scientific and Practical Conference "Ensuring the Principles of Respect, Protection and Realization of the Child's Right in the Digital Environment".
A regular meeting of the department's scientific circle was devoted to the use of a polygraph in the professional activities of law enforcement officers. The students majoring in Psychology mastered practical skills in lie detection through the use of tools, learned to fix sensors, read and decipher polygraphs.

A meeting of the scientific circle of the Department of Legal Support of Entrepreneurial Activity and Financial Security of the Faculty № 6 of KhNUIA under the guidance of Professor Yuliia Kyrychenko was held online.
At the initiative of the university's founder Oleksandr Bandurka and with the active support of Rector Valerii Sokurenko, the university's research paper competition "History of Law Enforcement" was launched in 2021.
The jury of the competition, which is being held for the third time, received 51 scientific works of cadets and students, from which 11 best ones were selected
