Among the issues that were considered: approval of the decisions of the academic councils of Faculties No. 1, 3, 6 and Sumy branch and the holding of a competition to fill the positions of scientific and pedagogical workers, vacant scientific positions of Kremenchuk Flight College; on attestation cases regarding the awarding of scientific titles to scientific and pedagogical staff of the university, etc.
At the Department of Social and Economic Disciplines, another meeting of the scientific group on the topic "Information security under martial law" was held in the format of an online video conference. The event was attended by students who worked on scientific works, the topics of which are tangential to the specified topic, participants of student conferences, members of the Department of Social and Economic Disciplines.
The next meeting of the scientific group of the Department of Criminal Procedure, Criminology and Expertology of the Faculty No. 6 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs was held in the Zoom conference mode and was dedicated to the "16 Days Against Violence" global action, which is held in Ukraine annually from November 25 to December 10.
The cadets participating in the group prepared works on the management of the country's economic security, classification of measures to prevent corruption. On the occasion of the 300th anniversary of the birth of Hryhorii Skovoroda, the cadets made reports and presentations dedicated to the memory of the great philosopher citing parallels of his philosophy in modern conditions.
The meeting was held by the first vice-rector of the university, Oleksandr Morhunov, with the participation of the vice-rector Mykhailo Burdin, university staff - members of the Scientific and Methodological Council. The issues of information support of the educational process with the electronic resources of the library; the state of organization of the educational process of foreign students in the 2022/2023 academic year, etc. were considered.
As part of the "16 Days Against Violence" global action, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine prepared the concept of the online event "Educational Marathon", which includes a series of thematic lectures for cadets and students of higher education institutions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
The head of the research group - associate professor of the Department of Police Activity and Public Administration of the Faculty No. 3, Kateryna Chyshko, held another meeting dedicated to the annual World Action "16 Days Against Violence". At the beginning of the group meeting, she outlined the current specifics of the problem of domestic violence.
Professor of the Department of Social and Humanitarian Disciplines of the Faculty No. 6, Doctor of Philosophy, Professor Volodymyr Shapoval, as a specially invited speaker, took part in a theoretical seminar organized by the Department of Philosophy of the National University "Odessa Law Academy", held online, where he gave a keynote speech "The Humanistic Potential of Philosophical heritage of H.S. Skovoroda". The theoretical seminar "Life and Philosophical Work of H.S. Skovoroda" was dedicated to the 300th anniversary of the birth of the great Ukrainian.
Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs held an international scientific and practical conference on the topic "Modern trends in the development of criminology and the criminal process under martial law". The topic of the conference aroused great interest in scientific circles and among practitioners.
Nataliia Horbach, a senior lecturer at the Department of Foreign Languages of the Faculty No. 4, held a meeting of the scientific group on the topic "The English sentence. Peculiarities of the structure of imperative sentences". Cadets examined examples of imperative declarative, interrogative sentences and negative sentences with modal verbs in modern English.
