The class was conducted by Volodymyr Sokolan, Head of the temporary detention facility No. 4 of the Main Department of the National Police in Khmelnytskyi region, and Hennadii Hlobenko, Associate Professor of the Department of Criminal Procedure and Organization of Pre-trial Investigation of the ERI No. 1. The students learned about the delivery of detainees and the procedure for conducting procedural actions.
National-patriotic informational and educational talks on the occasion of the Day of Defenders of Ukraine were held by curators of the educational work of the Department of Social and Humanitarian Work of KhNUIA. They talked with the cadets of the ERI №№ 1-4 about the history of the holiday, about modern heroes - courageous, devoted defenders of the territorial integrity of our country, true patriots.
On the Day of Defenders of Ukraine, Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs hosted events on the occasion of the swearing in of first-year cadets of the educational and research institutes and Sumy branch. Taking the Oath is an important event that will be remembered for a lifetime.
The exhibition was organized by the General Library staff Zhanna Lazorenko and Olena Sovinska. It has already been visited by third-year students of the ERI No. 4 under the guidance of teachers of the Department of Language Training - Professor, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor Oleh Honcharuk and senior lecturers Tetiana Kalchenko and Larysa Sazanova.
University cadets together with pupils of a preschool educational institution visited wounded soldiers and police officers undergoing rehabilitation in a medical facility with a patriotic program. The speeches were dedicated to all the defenders of Ukrainian statehood.
The creative teams of the university - the drummers' unit and the amateur group - congratulated the audience on the Day of Defenders of Ukraine. The patriotic Ukrainian songs and modern choreographic compositions performed by the cadets left no one indifferent.
Students of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs laid flowers at the graves of the fallen heroes who gave their lives for the territorial integrity and independence of our country. With a minute of silence, they honored the bright memory, courage, strength of spirit, resilience and heroic feat of the defenders of Ukraine.
The final year cadets together with the leadership of the ERI No. 1 took the course “Information Hygiene. How to recognize lies in social networks, on the Internet and on television”.
Olena Syniavska, Professor of the Department of Law Enforcement Activity of the ERI # 5, together with Yevhen Yevtieiev, Senior Inspector on Special Assignments of the Department of Commissioners for Monitoring Human Rights in Police Activities, conducted classes for students studying under the Law Enforcement educational and professional program.
The training course, conducted by representatives of the Red Cross Society of Ukraine, covered topics including: principles of first aid; restorative position; cardiopulmonary resuscitation; elimination of airway obstruction; bleeding control; wound care; assistance in case of injury, burns and frostbite.
