The first optional class of the School of Scientific Leadership of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs in the second semester of the academic year 2023/2024 on the topic "Features of Criminal Law Policy in the Time of War" was held by Yurii Orlov, Head of the Department of Criminal Law and Criminology of the Faculty No. 1 of KhNUIA.

Oleksandr Mozhaiev, Professor of the Department of Cybersecurity and DATA Technologies of the Faculty № 6 of KhNUIA, and Mykhailo Tsuranov, Senior Lecturer of the same department, received Wildau-Kharkiv-IT-Bridge (WKITB) certificates, which is part of the DAAD program "Ukraine digital: Ensuring academic success in times of crisis (2023)".

Associate Professor of the Department of Criminal Procedure and Organization of Pre-trial Investigation of the Faculty No. 1, Lieutenant Colonel Alina Piddubna, together with the Head of the Department for Investigation of Crimes in the Field of Economic and Official Activities of the Investigation Department of Kamianets-Podilskyi District Police Department of the National Police in Khmelnytskyi Region, Senior Lieutenant Alina Kosovska, conducted a binary class.

For the purpose of cultural and educational work, a visit to the musical and choreographic performance "In Search of the Little Prince" was organized for higher education students of the Faculties №№ 1, 4, 6 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs.

Today, blood and its components are essential for providing medical care to wounded soldiers and civilians affected by the war. 15 students of the Center for Primary Professional Training "Police Academy" of Sumy Branch of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs donated blood components to Sumy Regional Blood Service Center.

Olena Stativka, Head of the Department of Foreign Languages of the Faculty № 4 of KhNUIA, attended the International Online Webinar "I'm from Ukraine. Cultural identity and English lessons in primary school", organized by the Linguist company.

The 2nd-4th year cadets, who receive higher education at the first (bachelor's) level in the educational programs "Accounting and Taxation", "Law" and "Law Enforcement", continue to improve their practical competencies in the investigation and inquiry bodies, criminal police units, preventive activities, financial support and accounting, courts, etc.

Associate Professors of the Department of Humanities of Sumy Branch of KhNUIA Hanna Dovhopolova and Tetiana Ponomarenko took part in the international webinar "Sexual Violence in Conflict/CRVC: Colombia's Experience" organized within the framework of the project "Standing Together: Improving the Support System for Victims of War-Related Sexual Violence".

Representatives of the Department of Criminalistics, Forensic Science and Pre-medical Training of the Faculty No. 1 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs with the participation of the personnel department of Kryvyi Rih Regional Department of the National Police in Dnipro Oblast held career guidance meetings with high school students from Kryvyi Rih schools in Dnipro Oblast: Kryvyi Rih Central City Lyceum, Kryvyi Rih Lyceum No. 4 and Zelenodil Lyceum.

The 3rd year cadets of Sumy branch of KhNUIA together with their curator Anna Reshytko watched the movie "Shchedryk", which is considered one of the best in modern Ukrainian cinema. The movie has an educational and cognitive mission.
