Nataliia Vasylenko, Deputy Head of the Parliament of Cadet and Student Self-Government, Head of the Student Council of the Faculty № 6 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, and Anatolii Bessonov, Head of the Youth Council under Kharkiv Mayor, signed a memorandum of cooperation.
Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs has completed the admission campaign for young men and women who have decided to connect their lives with service in the ranks of the National Police of Ukraine. Entrance examinations for full-time education under the state order were held simultaneously at all university locations.
An online meeting with applicants who have expressed a desire to enter KhNUIA at the expense of individuals and legal entities was held by the Dean of the Faculty No. 6 Oksana Brusakova, Deputy Executive Secretary of the Admissions Committee Maryna Davydova and representative of the Admissions Committee Kostiantyn Sverdlin.
Employees of the Department of Tactical and Special Physical Training of the Faculty № 3 of KhNUIA Bohdan Lukin and Mykhailo Inshekov met with the head of the medical service of the battalion of the 48th separate engineering brigade, Captain of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Iryna Aktymiichuk and a sanitary instructor of one of the military units. The lecturers told them that the university has created conditions for engaging combatants and war veterans in physical education, sports and physical activity.
According to the results of the competition, Simon Serbeniuk, a researcher at the Department of Organization of Scientific Work of the Department of Scientific Activity Organization and Intellectual Property Protection, Deputy Chairman of the Scientific Society of KhNUIA, became a finalist with his work on “Ways to Integrate Legal Education into the European Educational Space”.
The Rector of the University, Police General of the third rank Valerii Sokurenko noted that this personnel decision meets the requirements of wartime and aims to strengthen the military component of training future police officers.
Inna Larionova, Senior Lecturer of the Department of Tactical and Special Physical Training of the Faculty No. 3, took part in the International Summer School “Internationalization and Internationalization at Home through Virtual Exchange: Creating a Motivating Environment for Collaborative International Online Learning”.
Since the beginning of the war, Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs was forced to relocate to other regions of Ukraine to preserve its staff and continue training new police officers for the Security and Defence Forces.
Vitalii Romaniuk, Dean of the Faculty № 1 of KhNUIA, took a course for teachers of higher education institutions “6 Steps to Integrity: From Theory to Practice”. The course participants considered the following topics: “Public Integrity”, ‘Integrity of a teacher of a higher education institution’, ‘What is corruption?’, ‘Manifestations of corruption in the educational sphere’.
Teiiub Abdulaiev, a cadet of the Faculty № 1, and Artem Hromovych, a cadet of the Faculty № 4, who are members of the scientific club of the Department of Theory and History of State and Law, became semi-finalists of the II All-Ukrainian Youth Competition “Legal Education of the Future”.
