
4th-year students of the ERI No. 5 completed an important stage of their studies - they passed the comprehensive qualifying exam for the first (bachelor's) level of higher education in the specialty 072 "Finance, Banking, Insurance and Stock Market". The exam was the result of four years of intensive study and a test of acquired knowledge and professional competencies.

A practical training was held on this topic, in which representatives of Sumy branch of KhNUIA - Professor of the Department of Socio-Economic Disciplines Olena LUKIANYKHINA and Leading Specialist of the Educational and Social-Humanitarian Work Group Hanna MITITIEL participated.

As part of a voluntary donation campaign, cadets of the ERI No. 2 donated blood and its components at Vinnytsia Regional Blood Service Center. Representatives of the Center noted the stable support from Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs in ensuring supplies of donor blood.

A boxing match between the teams of the twin cities of Kharkiv and Poznan took place in Poznan (Poland). Kharkiv team included a cadet of the 1st year of the ERI No. 2, Danylo KRYZHANIVSKYI.

During the event, the issue of implementing the decisions of the Academic Council of KhNUIA for the first half of 2025, the status of the work of the Institute's Academic Council in the 2024-2025 academic year and ways to improve its activities under martial law were considered. The results of the implementation of the Plan of scientific research and development work, scientific research activities of cadets, and the work of scientific circles of the Institute's departments in the first half of 2025 were summarized.

The National Program Officer of the UNODC Program Office in Ukraine, Serhii RUDYI, conducted the second day of the training session for cadets. During the event, a wide range of issues were considered, including a comprehensive package of measures for the prevention of HIV, hepatitis and tuberculosis among people who inject drugs.

Within the framework of scientific and practical interaction between Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs and territorial units of the National Police of Ukraine, a working meeting was held dedicated to the legal and organizational aspects of the functioning of the Educational Security Service.

Oksana LIASKA, Associate Professor of the Department of Psychology, Sociology and Pedagogy of the Educational and Research Institute No. 3, successfully completed a training course under the patronage of the European Union Advisory Mission, which was held as part of measures to reform the civil security sector of Ukraine.

The results of the prestigious THE Impact Rankings 2025, which is an important indicator of the social responsibility of universities and assesses their contribution to sustainable development, have been published. The ranking includes higher education institutions from around the world that demonstrate high performance in achieving the 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals.

The event was held at the initiative of the Youth Policy Department of Vinnytsia City Council together with the Department of Social and Humanitarian Work of KhNUIA. For most participants, it was their first introduction to SUP boarding, a sport that involves standing up on a special board.
