At all locations of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, the Department of Social and Humanitarian Work organized screenings of short documentaries "Flight 54" for students in memory of the employees and leadership of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine who died in last year's plane crash.

Since February 24, 2022, we have been proving our unbreakable Ukrainian spirit and sincere boundless humanity every day. From the first days of the war, Faculty № 6 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs has been providing assistance to Kharkiv City Animal Shelter, because every saved life is valuable.

According to the results of the training on the Internet platform "Prometheus", students of the Faculty No. 1 learned about the algorithms of actions of specialists of entities that provide services to victims of human trafficking.

The Rector of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, Police General of the third rank Valerii Sokurenko, held a briefing with the graduate students of the Faculties No. 1-4 before they went on an internship at the bodies and units of the National Police of Ukraine.

The delegates heard a report from the Rector of the University, Police General of the third rank Valerii Sokurenko. He summarized the activities of the higher education institution over the past year in the main areas: organization of the educational process, research, publishing and international activities, interaction with the public and the media, career guidance, logistics, personnel policy, service organization, etc.

Representatives of the Faculty № 6 of KhNUIA - Head of the Department of Law Enforcement and Police Science Iryna Panova and Head of the Department of Cybersecurity and DATA Technologies Yurii Hnusov - took an online course "Information Security" on the educational platform "Prometheus".

Inna Strok, Associate Professor of the Department of Criminal Procedure and Organization of Pre-trial Investigation of the Faculty No. 1, conducted a binary class for cadets of the Faculty No. 4 on the topic "Peculiarities of Pre-trial Investigation of Criminal Offenses".

Representatives of the Educational and Methodological Department of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs visited Kharkiv District Police Departments No. 1, 2, 3, Police Department No. 2 of Kharkiv District Police Department No. 1, Police Departments No. 1, 2 of Kharkiv District Police Department No. 3 of the Main Department of the National Police in Kharkiv Region, where cadets of the 2nd and 3rd years of the Faculties No. 1 and No. 4 are undergoing training.

A fast-paced political career, active social work, ambitious plans for the future. One morning, it all came to an end. On January 18, 2023, a helicopter carrying the leadership of the Ministry of Internal Affairs crashed in Brovary. The State Secretary of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Yurii Lubkovych was among the people on board.

Artem Bilousov, Senior Lecturer at the Department of Foreign Languages of the Faculty № 4, and Dmytro Horbach, an Interpol officer, held a binary lesson in the discipline "Foreign Language for Professional Purposes" for 4th year cadets of the Faculty № 2 on the topic "The body representing Ukraine in Interpol, the International Criminal Police Organization".
