Visit of EU Advice Mission at the University

Representatives of EU Advice Mission, videlicet Hugues Fantou (Deputy Head of Mission), Victor Brandt (Deputy Head of Regional Outreach), Stanislav Bezovsky (Regional Outreach Officer), Mihai Barbutu (Regional Outreach Officer), Ivanna Ilchenko (Regional Outreach Assistant), have officially attended Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs. Delegation members have met with management of the university and discussed matters related to reforming internal affairs bodies of Ukraine and possibility of further cooperation.

Victory of University Cadet at the European Championships on Sambo

Cadet of 2^nd year of Faculty of training specialists for investigation departments of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs Vladyslav Rudnev occupied third place in the weight category up to 74 kg at the European Championships on sambo among juniors held in Novi Sad (Serbia) in April 16-19, 2015and won a ticket to participate in the World Championships on sambo.

Cadet of the University Became Prize Winner of the Championship of Ukraine on Freestyle Wrestling

The championship in freestyle, Greco-Roman and women''s wrestling held April 7-9 this year in Kharkiv, Ukraine. Champions current competitions will be the main contenders for the trip to Baku (Azerbaijan), where from 13 to 18 June will be held the first European games. The strongest fighters of Ukraine were among the judges of the championship. It is pleasant to note that among the first winners of the championship cadet is the 1st year of the Faculty of training for police departments of public safety and criminal police for children in Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs Nina Andriyenko. After winning the starting contractions of compatriot Irina Melenevskyi subsequently ceded Nina Julia Lisowski from Kherson. However, in the final for the third place our athlete put on the shoulder Volynianka Julia Parhonyuk. And despite the fact that Nina is not trained for almost a year due to injury. So congratulate our athlete with victory - the third place in the weight category up to 60 kg.

The Annual Regional Chess Tournament Started in Kharkiv

The opening of the final Chess Championship of the Kharkiv region was held in April 2 this year in Kharkiv Chess Club "Haharynets". It was attended by the winners of the semi-final of the competition among boys and girls, athletes with disabilities, veterans, and grandmasters and masters of world-class chess. The Championship is held under the patronage of Kharkiv Regional Council and Kharkiv Regional Chess Federation.
