
The training camp for the first-year cadets of Sumy branch of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs lasted for almost three weeks. During this time, boys and girls were adapted to the new conditions of study and living, got acquainted with the regulations governing the activities of the National Police, and received combat training.

The Day of Physical Culture and Sports of Ukraine was celebrated at Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs with a sports holiday, in which the national teams of the faculties №№ 1–4 and 6 and the Institute of Postgraduate Education took part.The cadets, students and listeners of the university tested themselves in speed in the track and field relay, demonstrated strength and team spirit in tug of war and playing football.

The camp meeting was closed at Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs. The first-year students were greeted by the head of the camp meeting, the Vice-Rector Serhii Bortnyk.
Addressing the youth, he noted that the camp meeting is one of the most difficult and extremely important stages for anyone who has decided to become a law enforcement officer.

Lecturers of the cycle commission of natural sciences of Kremenchug Flight College of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs Svitlana Hrybanova and Oksana Husarova took part in the webinar "Programming Scratch and Python: how to do it easily and interestingly".

The representatives of Kremenchug Flight College of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs Maryna Petchenko, Candidate of Economic Sciences, responsible for gender issues, cadets Victoriia Hirenko, Anastasiia Dotsenko and Kateryna Rykova took part in the forum “Women Can”.

Specialist of the Department of International Cooperation, Alona Subocheva took part in the international scientific conference ''Massacre of Babyn Yar. 80 years later''. The event was organized by MEIS, the Museum of Italian Judaism and the Shoah and the Babyn Yar Holocaust Memorial Center.

With the support of the OSCE Project Coordinator in Ukraine (@OSCE.Ukraine.Projects), the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine the second stage of the project international technical assistance "Building the training capacity of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine on psychological support in extreme situations" took place at Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs.

OSCE Project Co-ordinator in Ukraine, Ambassador Henrik Villadsen visited Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs. The guests met with the Rector of the University, the Third-Ranked Police General Valerii Sokorenko and the First Vice-Rector of the University, Police Colonel Dmytro Shvets.

Representatives of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs took part in the international conference ''Training of law enforcement officers - the best practices for training bachelors and masters", organized by the Association of European Police Colleges, which took place on the basis of the University of Public Service in Budapest (Hungary).

“Sheriffs for New Communities” project coordinator in Kharkiv and Dnipropetrovsk Regions Yurii Chumak conducted classes for future community police officers who are taking training at Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs now.
