Another optional class of the School of Scientific Leadership of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs was held. The training was conducted by the head of the Department of Legal Disciplines of Sumy Branch of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, Candidate of Law, Professor Oleksii SHUMILO.

Deputy Directors for Educational and Research Activities of the ERI No. 1 Oleksii SALMANOV, ERI No. 2 Serhii HIRENKO and ERI No. 4 Yurii ONYSCHCHENKO took part in the presentation of the Special Report of the Commissioner for Human Rights of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on access to education of children and youth from the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine.

The conference will be held on February 14, 2025 at Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs in online mode. Representatives of higher education institutions, scientists, practical psychologists, education seekers, postgraduate students, adjuncts of higher education institutions of Ukraine are invited to participate in the scientific event.

The Cadet and Student Parliament organized intellectual competitions for Valentine’s Day. In Vinnytsia, teams from the ERI No. 2 and No. 3 competed, organized by the Chairman of the Parliament Mykola SOROCHYSHYN, and in Kamianets-Podilskyi, teams from the ERI No. 1, No. 2 and No. 5 competed, organized by the Deputy Chairman of the Parliament Anzhela STETSIUK.

Representatives of the university are always ready to support those who need blood or its components for treatment and recovery. Senior lecturer of the Department of Legal Support of Entrepreneurial Activity and Financial Security of the ERI No. 5 Anna SUSHKOVA once again became a donor of blood components.

On this topic, students of the ERI No. 5 listened to a lecture given by the head of the Department of Economic and Administrative Law of the Faculty of Law of Vasyl Stus Donetsk National University, Doctor of Law, Associate Professor Anhelina DOROSHENKO.

As part of cooperation with the departments, the university library presented the scientific and pedagogical staff of the Department of Psychology, Sociology and Pedagogy of the ERI No. 3 with new psychological literature purchased at their request. Among the publications are books by one of the most prominent scientists of the 20th century, Carl Gustav Jung, published in Ukrainian.

Representatives of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs joined the training at Carinthian University of Applied Sciences (Villach, Austria) within the framework of the SIN-NEC International Project, which was held in a mixed format. The event was dedicated to teaching in heterogeneous classrooms and virtual exchange.

Associate Professor of the Department of Criminal Procedure, Forensics and Expertise of the ERI No. 5 Svitlana LOZOVA conducted an online class on the topic "Forensic Identification". The event was attended by Professor of the Department of Criminal Process and Forensics of Donetsk State University of Internal Affairs Oleksii ODERII.

A 2nd-year student of the ERI No. 5, Viktoria HAVRYLIUK, introduced future applicants to the features of studying at Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs and the specialties in which higher education applicants are trained.
