Associate Professor of the Department of Criminal Law and Criminology of the ERI No. 1, Candidate of Law, Associate Professor Kseniia YURTAIEVA took advanced training courses under the program of the School of Professional Development for Criminal Law Teachers “Topical Issues of Criminal Law: Present and Future”, which took place in Vinnytsia.

On January 30, 2025, a graduate of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs Yaroslav Faliush was killed during a combat mission in Pokrovsk direction of Donetsk region as a result of a direct hit by the Russian KAB. His wife and eight-year-old daughter were left without a husband and father.

On this topic, Volodymyr IVANTSOV, Head of the Postgraduate (Adjunct) and Doctoral Studies Department, Professor of the Department of Administrative Activity, Candidate of Law, Associate Professor, and Daniel ZINCHENKO, an adjunct of the same department, completed the online training “Fight Against Racism, Xenophobia, Homophobia and Transphobia”, which is part of the Council of Europe's HELP program.

The Head of the Laboratory for Pre-trial Investigation of the ERI No. 1, Doctor of Law, Professor Serhii SHATRAVA presented the publication “Innovative Methods and Modern Practices in Police Activities to Create a Safe Educational Environment for Children” to the general library on the occasion of the International Book Giving Day.

Iryna NECHAIEVA, a lecturer at the Department of Criminal Procedure and Organization of Pre-trial Investigation of the ERI №1, together with Volodymyr STOROZHUK, a senior detective of the Criminal Police Department of Kamianets-Podilskyi District Police Department of the National Police in Khmelnytskyi Region, conducted a class for the cadets of the ERI №4.

In order to qualitatively form the structure and content of educational programs of the first (bachelor's) and second (master's) levels of higher education in the specialty “Finance, Banking, Insurance and Stock Market”, which are implemented at the Department of Legal Support of Entrepreneurial Activity and Financial Security of the ERI №5, a meeting of guarantors of educational programs was held.

Deputy Director for Education and Research Activity of the ERI №2 Serhii HIRENKO together with Associate Professors of the Department of Social and Economic Disciplines Viktoriia VELIEVA and Nataliia BOBRO held an online meeting with students and teaching staff of general secondary education institutions with the assistance of the Humanitarian Department of Horodyshche Village Council.

The participants of the practical and theoretical training under the guidance of combat veterans - certified tactical medicine instructors - continue to work actively on the issues of providing self- and mutual assistance to the wounded at the pre-hospital stage.

For the students of the ERI No. 5, a class on “Drafting Procedural Documents in Lawyering” was held by Serhii SEMENOV, a lawyer of the Lawyers' Association “League of Defense”, and Stanislav PEVKO, Associate Professor of the Department of Law Enforcement of the ERI No 5.

The Institute of Political, Legal and Religious Studies, with the support of the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine, the National Agency for Higher Education Quality Assurance, the National Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of Ukraine, and the European Cultural Assembly, held an All-Ukrainian competition of creative works “National and Patriotic Formation of Youth”.
