The Minister of Internal Affairs addressed the citizens on the occasion of the National Flag Day of Ukraine.
"With the blue and yellow colors, our defenders bravely go into battle and defend the values symbolized by our flag - the integrity, independence and unity of the nation. These are the colors that fly throughout the civilized world in support of the free Ukrainian people. We are proud of them. And we are fighting for them"

On August 23, 2004, the former President of Ukraine Leonid Kuchma signed Decree No. 987/2004 "On the Day of the National Flag of Ukraine". This Decree "in honor of the centuries-old history of Ukrainian statehood, the state symbols of independent Ukraine and in order to foster respect for the state symbols of Ukraine" established a new holiday in Ukraine - the Day of the National Flag of Ukraine, which is celebrated annually on August 23.

August 23 is a double holiday for us, Kharkiv residents. We celebrate the Day of the City of Kharkiv, which turns 369 years old, and the Day of its liberation from the Nazi invaders in 1943 during World War II. At that time, Kharkiv survived the Nazi occupation, suffered significant human losses and destruction, but it survived, won, revived, and regained its glory as a powerful scientific, industrial, cultural, and educational center of Ukraine.

One of the measures that helps freshmen adapt to new conditions is group training. During the interactive interaction of the psychologist with the cadets, many useful goals are achieved: trust in the psychologist is formed through relaxed communication in an equal space, the cadets get to know each other, etc.

The war in Ukraine has given rise to the spread of fraudulent schemes based on vulnerable emotional states and abuse of public trust. The criminals are able to deceive children and pensioners and try to disappear into the Internet without leaving any traces of the crime. The Cyberpolice Department of the National Police of Ukraine tells about the most common fraud schemes and basic safety rules that will help expose scammers.

On the eve of the Day of the National Flag and the Independence Day of Ukraine, a festive concert "Ukraine, bloom in love and kindness" was held for students of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs. Young pupils of Vinnytsia children's vocal studio "Solo Way" took part in the concert.

A video lecture in the format of a historical chronograph "Milestones of the Ukrainian statehood in the context of the development of Podillia and Southeastern Volyn" was held for the first-year cadets of the camp training of the Faculties No. 1 and No. 4 of KhNUIA on the occasion of the Day of the State Flag of Ukraine.

During the celebrations on the occasion of the National Flag Day and Independence Day of Ukraine, the university staff was awarded. Pavlo Kolomoiets, a leading specialist of the Department of Organizational and Analytical Work and Control, and Olena Muzyka, Director of the Scientific Library, were awarded with a diploma of Vinnytsia Regional Military Administration for their conscientious work, high professionalism, impeccable service to the Ukrainian people and on the occasion of the Independence Day of Ukraine.

Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs held celebrations on the occasion of the National Flag Day and Independence Day of Ukraine. On behalf of the Rector of the University, Police General of the third rank Valerii Sokurenko, Vice-Rector Colonel Oleksandr Muzychuk congratulated the university staff and representatives of Faculties 2 and 3.

The management and staff of the Faculties No. 1 and No. 4 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs took part in the celebrations on the occasion of the National Flag Day and Independence Day of Ukraine.
