A binary lesson on ‘International protection of human rights during armed conflicts’ was held with third-year students of the ERI No. 4 by Professor of the Department of Constitutional and International Law and Human Rights Yevhenia Lohvynenko and the commander of the demining unit Andrii Vivcharyk.

Kateryna Shapoval, a doctoral student of the Department of Organisation of Educational and Scientific Training (Doctoral and Postgraduate Studies), took part in the international scientific and practical conference ‘Topical Issues of Forensic Expertise and Criminalistics’ dedicated to the memory of the outstanding scientist Vladyslav Fedorenko.

On the eve of the Day of Ukrainian Writing and Language, higher education students of the Educational and Research Institutes №2 and №3 took part in the literary and artistic holiday ‘Ukrainian Language is Your Victory!’ on the initiative of the Department of Social and Humanitarian Work.

The event brought together initiative young people who want to make changes and have a clear vision of the future development of the police university. At the beginning of the debate, the candidates were asked two topical questions to which they had to provide answers on the principle of ‘FOR’ and ‘AGAINST’. The next stage was an opportunity to answer questions from the opponent.

Representatives of the university held a meeting with graduates of general secondary education institutions on admission to study under the state order at Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs in 2025.

For the convenience of training, the staff of the Driving School for Persons with Disabilities of KhNUIA developed a flexible schedule for the future driver Oleksandr Bahola. In a short period of time, he quickly learnt to drive a car: to move in a straight line, shift gears, use brakes, and perform exercises on the car park.

Judge of the Court of Appeal of Kharkiv Region Viktor Yatsyna and Professor of the Department of Civil Law and Procedure Volodymyr Kroitor conducted a binary class for full-time students of the second (master's) level of higher education at the ERI No. 5.

Associate Professor of the Department of Constitutional and International Law and Human Rights Oleksandr Radchenko held a career guidance meeting with representatives of Lyceum №31 in Zhytomyr - graduates, the director of the educational institution Marharyta Bokhan and her deputy for educational work Natalia Dziadevych.

This was the topic of a two-day training for the management of the National Police of Ukraine conducted by EUAM Ukraine, in particular Gender Adviser Anette Schwitzke, Police Adviser Georgina Magnussen and Human Rights Training Expert Yuliia Petrova, with the participation of trainer from the JurFem company, lawyer Marta Pavlyshyn.

The Director of the ERI №5 Oksana Brusakova congratulated the 2nd year student Daryna Omelchenko, who won the Ukrainian Kickboxing Championship among juniors, boys and adults and won two gold medals. Daryna is a candidate for Master of Sports of Ukraine in Cossack combat.
