Oksana Brusakova, Dean of the Faculty No. 6 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, held a working meeting on the admission campaign - 2023 at the North-Eastern Interregional Department for the Execution of Sentences, which powers extend to the territory of Kharkiv, Luhansk, Poltava and Sumy regions. 

The event was attended by the Rector of the University Valerii Sokurenko, Vice-Rector Serhii Bortnyk, heads of faculties, structural subdivisions of the university, and Sumy branch. Addressing the future commanders, the Rector of the university emphasized that their main mission in the process of adaptation of freshmen to new conditions is a personal example.

Yuliia Zahumenna, Professor of the Department of Theory and History of State and Law, Faculty No. 1, took part in a webinar on the topic "The Power of Social Media in the Professional Development of a University Lecturer". During the webinar, the participants explored the importance of creating a personal brand of a lecturer, promoting values through social networks and using them in the educational process.

In the TV program "For the Time Being" on the municipal TV channel "VITA TV", Rector of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs Valerii Sokurenko summarized the work of the university, which has been conducting educational activities in Vinnytsia region for more than a year and is making further plans for the future.

This is the first issue of the collection after its inclusion in the list of scientific professional publications of Ukraine (legal sciences, specialties - 081, 262), in which the results of dissertations for the degree of Doctor of Sciences, Candidate of Sciences and Doctor of Philosophy, category "B" may be published (Order of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine of 20.06.2023 No. 768).

Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs is actively involved in the implementation of the "No Barriers" project by opening a Driving School for people with disabilities. The project is implemented by the Ministry of Internal Affairs at the initiative of the First Lady of Ukraine Olena Zelenska. As Russia's aggression against Ukraine continues, the problem of social adaptation of combatants, many of whom have been injured and left with disabilities, is extremely acute.

Within the framework of the CRYPTOEDGE project, which is being implemented with the support of the US Embassy in Ukraine, Vitalii Nosov, Professor of the Department of Cybercrime Counteraction of the Faculty № 4, took part as an expert trainer in a series of trainings of the second stage of the course for investigators.

The UniRank University Ranking (https://www.4icu.org) is an international non-academic ranking that examines the quality of representation and popularity of universities in the Internet space.
The ranking measures the popularity and attendance of websites and social networks of 13900 universities around the world, including 194 Ukrainian ones.

The First Vice President of the National Academy of Legal Sciences of Ukraine, Academician of the National Academy of Legal Sciences of Ukraine, Doctor of Law, Professor, Honored Lawyer of Ukraine Oleksandr Bandurka, as well as the founder and long-time rector of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs Oleksandr Bandurka, handed over five computers to the university to be used for the educational process.

August 1, 2023 marks the 110th anniversary of the death of the brilliant Ukrainian poet, public figure, courageous woman and fighter for the fate of her native people, Lesia Ukrainka (Larysa Petrivna Kosach-Kvitka).
