The Department of Humanities and Ukrainian Studies has launched a series of lectures and talks dedicated to the 30th anniversary of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs. The Head of the Department, Professor Volodymyr Hrechenko, the author of several books on the history of the University, held a thematic meeting with students of the ERI No. 5.

Senior Lecturer of the Department of Tactical and Special Training of the ERI No. 2 Oleksandr Skliar organised a binary lesson on ‘Military equipment, outfit, armour protection and inventory’ for the cadets of the ERI No. 3, which was conducted by a military instructor of the Volunteer Civilian Readiness Centre.

Volodymyr Ivantsov, Head of the Department for the Organisation of Educational and Scientific Training (Doctoral and Postgraduate Studies), and Daniil Zinchenko, an associate professor in the same department, completed the course ‘Fundamentals of Child-Friendly Justice: An Online Course for Juvenile Prosecutors’.

Curator, lecturer of the Department of Criminal Procedure and Organisation of Pre-trial Investigation Iryna Nechaieva held an educational hour with the cadets of the ERI No. 1 on the topic of Road Traffic Safety. She provided statistics on road traffic accidents, explained the importance of observing traffic rules for pedestrians and drivers.

Volodymyr Kroitor, Professor of the Department of Civil Law and Procedure of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, completed the training programme ‘Professional Burnout of Civil Servants: Diagnosis, Prevention, Rehabilitation. Growing personality - healed society’ and received a certificate.

Valerii Sokurenko, Rector of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, Police General of the third rank, took part in a meeting held by the State Secretary of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Inna Yashchuk. During her working trip to Dnipro region, she visited a number of educational institutions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, including Dnipro Lyceum of Security and National Patriotic Education.

Dmytro Dmytriuk, Inspector of the Juvenile Prevention Sector of Zhytomyr Department of the National Police in Zhytomyr Region, and Yulia Buhaiko, Associate Professor of the Department of Administrative Activities of the ERI No. 3, conducted a binary lesson on ‘Controlling the Activities of Juvenile Prevention Units’ for the cadets of the ERI No. 3.

Nataliia Hresa, Associate Professor of the Department of Sociology and Psychology of the ERI No. 5, Head of the practice, held a meeting with 2nd year master's students studying in the speciality ‘053 Psychology’. She noted that the pedagogical practice is an integral part of the OPP ‘Psychology (Practical Psychology)’.

The teaching staff of the Language Training Department of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs - Head of the Department Olena Stativka, Professor of the same Department Oleh Honcharuk, Associate Professors Valentyna Kochyna and Valentyna Pochuieva, Senior Lecturers Artem Bilousov and Larysa Sazanova - took part in the international online webinar ‘AI-enabled language teaching and learning with Pearson’.

The Rector of the University Valerii Sokurenko congratulated the team of KhNUIA on the victory in the competition among the teams of higher education institutions belonging to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the National Guard of Ukraine and other central executive authorities.
