The Rector of the university, Police General of the third rank Valerii Sokurenko, the first vice-rector, vice-rectors, deans of faculties, heads of structural divisions, and cadets took part in the events. Training camp is one of the most difficult and extremely important stages for anyone who decides to become a police officer. First-year students successfully completed general theoretical, physical and special training.

During the morning line-up of the cadets of the Faculty No. 1 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, the Dean of the Faculty No. 1, Police Colonel Oleksandr Muzychuk, awarded the 3rd year cadet Denys Furtas, who successfully performed and won the 2nd place in the French SAVAT European Boxing Championship held in Boulogne -sur-Mer (France).

The cadets of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs have patrols together with the policemen of the MDNP in Vinnytsia region. The university is part of Vinnytsia Police Garrison and will ensure public safety and order on the streets of the city.

At the beginning of the Russian invasion of Ukraine, the head of the trade union organization of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, Police Colonel Valerii Ivanovych Moskovets, tragically died. His 21-year-old granddaughter Anastasiia died together with Valerii Ivanovych.

Associate Professor of the Department of Criminal Procedure, Forensic Studies and Expertology of the Faculty No. 6 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, Candidate of Psychological Sciences, Associate Professor Svitlana Lozova took part in the II International Scientific and Theoretical Conference "Modernization of today's science: experience and trends" (Singapore).
