The staff of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs - staff, cadets, students, master's and adjunct students and their families - have been actively volunteering since the first days of Russia's war against our country, helping the defenders on the front line. Since the beginning of the armed aggression, sixteen vehicles have been purchased and delivered with the funds raised.
On the initiative of the Department of Social and Humanitarian Work, students of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs attended the memorial evening "Born to Live Forever". It was dedicated to the anniversary of the death of Oleksandr Bozhko, a soldier of the Territorial Defense Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine from Vinnytsia.

The topic of protection and popularization of European democratic values was the key one for the meeting.
This year marks 37 years since the largest nuclear power accident in history. The disaster claimed the lives of many people and caused irreparable damage to the environment. In December 2016, the UN General Assembly proclaimed April 26 as the International Day of Remembrance of Chornobyl Disaster. Since then, this day has been used every year to commemorate all the people who died or suffered from this disaster, as well as to honor the liquidators of the accident. A regular meeting of the scientific circle of the Department of Law Enforcement and Police Science was dedicated to these catastrophic events.
Senior Lecturer of the Department of Constitutional and International Law of the Faculty №4 took part in the webinar "A Good Life for People with Mental and Intellectual Disabilities in Ukraine". The event was organized and held at the initiative of the Advisor to the Presidential Commissioner for Accessibility Tetiana Lomakina, the Ministry of Social Policy of Ukraine, the NGO Coalition for the Protection of the Rights of Persons with Intellectual Disabilities, and Inclusion Europe.
