At Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, the winners of the I stages of the XXVI Petro Yatsyk International Competition of Ukrainian Language Experts and the XVI Taras Shevchenko International Language and Literature Competition of Pupils and Student Youth have been determined.

Employees of the operational response group of Kamianets-Podilskyi patrol police battalion Yevhen PAZIUK and Vadym VOZYLA conducted training for future investigators and inquirers. Each movement during the arrest of an offender – with cold or firearms – was demonstrated and explained by patrol officers using real examples.

During the practical lesson, cadets of the ERI №1 worked out the algorithm for the initial examination of the victim, assessment of injuries and actions in case of massive bleeding, as well as the procedure for providing self- and mutual assistance to the wounded in the zone of direct fire of the enemy. In addition, they mastered the techniques of firing during a sudden change in the situation.

A regular career guidance meeting with graduates of various educational institutions of Ukraine was held by Viktor SLYSH, Assistant to the Rector of KhNUIA, Serhii HIRENKO, Deputy Director of the ERI No. 2, and Tetiana KUDREIKO, Deputy Head of the course. The purpose of the event is to help future applicants decide on a professional path and make a conscious choice of specialty.

In Lutsk, the FCSS «Dynamo» championship of Ukraine in sambo wrestling was held among the national teams of higher education institutions belonging to the sphere of management of the MIA, the National Guard of Ukraine and other central executive bodies, whose activities are directed and coordinated by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine through the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine.

Professor of the Department of Criminal Law and Criminology of the ERI No. 1 Andrii Yashchenko together with Ivan STOROZHUK, Head of the Convoy Service of the Department of Preventive Activities of the MDNP in Kharkiv region, held a binary lesson for third-year cadets of the ERI No. 2.

For students of the Educational and Research Institute No. 4, a practical binary lesson was held, dedicated to the M.A.R.C.H. algorithm – standardized procedure for providing pre-medical care in conditions of combat affection.

A regular session of the Scientific Society of Students, Cadets, Listeners, Postgraduates, Adjuncts, Doctoral Students and Young Scientists was held at Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs. Liudmyla NADOPTA, Head of the Scientific Society, spoke about promising areas of scientific activity of young scientists.

The Deputy Director of the Educational and Research Activity of the ERI No. 2 Serhii HIRENKO, Head of the Department Iryna SIEVIDOVA and Associate Professors of the Department Nataliia BOBRO and Viktoriia VELIIEVA held an online meeting with the graduates of Zinkiv Specialized School No. 1 of the Zinkiv City Council, Poltava Region.

On the occasion of the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women, employees of the Department of Social and Humanitarian Work held a series of information and educational hours for cadets of the Educational and Research Institutes No. 1-4, Sumy branch and Kremenchuk Flight College.
