For cadets of the fourth-year of the ERI No.2 binary lesson on the academic discipline «Tactics of conducting separate investigative (search) actions» on the topic «Tactics of investigative (search) actions in conditions of emergency or martial law» was conducted by Oleksandr Yukhno, Professor of the Department of Criminalistics and Forensic Science of the ERI No.1.

Oleksandr Shyshka, Professor of the Department of Civil, Labor and Commercial Law of the ERI No. 1, together with Pavlo Mitruhov, Associate Professor of the Department of Operational and Investigative Activities and Crime Solving of the ERI No. 2, held a binary lesson on the topic "Family Legal Relations in Private International Law: Practical Aspects of Police Activity".

Members of the scientific and practical club of the Department of Tactical and Special Training "SHIELD" conducted a practical training lesson using paintball equipment. This training format combined theoretical training with realistic reenactments of service situations.

At the Educational and Research Institute No. 2 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, the final meeting of the Academic Council in 2025 was held, during which the results of the team's activities were summed up, the best employees and cadets were noted and priorities for the next year were determined.

The Department of Special Physical Training of the Educational and Research Institute No. 2 held a training lesson with war veteran Kyrylo Nedilko, who served in the military from May 2023 and took part in combat operations in Kharkiv region.

Lecturers of the Department of Tactical and Special Training of the ERI No. 2 held a career guidance event for graduates of Kamianets-Podilskyi Lyceum No. 14. They familiarized high school students with the formation of safety behavior in case of detection of explosive objects, providing first aid to a wounded person with the letter "M", etc.

Oleksii Dereviahin, Professor of the Department of Operational and Investigative Activities and Crime Detection of the Educational and Research Institute No. 2, and Vadym Kuzema, Lecturer of the same Department, conducted lesson for third-year cadets of the ERI No. 1, 4 in the field of training "Law Enforcement".

Representatives of the cadet and student Parliament of KhNUIA joined the training course on pre-medical care. The Head of the cadet council of the Educational and Research Institute No. 2 – Rodion Bolharskyi and his Deputy Dmytro Leus mastered critical skills.

The Ukrainian Ampfootball Championship was attended by representatives of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs - combatants who, after serious injuries and loss of limbs, not only returned to active life, but also achieved high sports results, becoming an example of fortitude and endurance.

Representatives of the cadet and student self-government of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs took part in the training within the framework of the student self-government development workshop "aGAIN 3.0". This is not the first time that the project has been implemented at the university with the support of UNDP in Ukraine and with the financial assistance of the Government of Denmark.
