
For cadets of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs at the Department for Combating Domestic Violence of the MDNP in Vinnytsia region, an information event was held dedicated to the AIDS Day as part of the All-Ukrainian action "16 Days Against Violence".

In Lviv, «Training for young people on the approaches of the Council of Europe in the youth sector» took place, in which Yevhen NOVIKOV, second-year cadet of the Educational and Research Institute No.2 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, took part.

In Netishyn, the open Cup of Khmelnytskyi region in kickboxing WAKO was held. Cadets of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs presented the university with dignity and showed a high level of training.

Table tennis competitions were held at Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, which united cadets and students around sports drive and fair play. Previously, qualifying stages were held in each institute, according to the results of which teams of three participants were formed, who presented the ERI No. 1-5.

The regular lesson of the School of Scientific Leadership of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs was held on the topic "Modern Challenges of Tactical and Special Training of Police Officers". The lesson were conducted by the Heads of the scientific and practical circle of the Department of Tactical and Special Training "SHIELD".

Professor of the Department of Tactical and Special Training of the ERI No. 2 Kostiantyn RADCHENKO together with the instructors of the "Center for Demining of Ukraine" conducted a lesson for cadets of the ERI No. 3 on the discipline "Tactical and Special Training" on the topic "General Information about the Procedure for Identifying Explosive Objects".

At Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, the winners of the I stages of the XXVI Petro Yatsyk International Competition of Ukrainian Language Experts and the XVI Taras Shevchenko International Language and Literature Competition of Pupils and Student Youth have been determined.

Employees of the operational response group of Kamianets-Podilskyi patrol police battalion Yevhen PAZIUK and Vadym VOZYLA conducted training for future investigators and inquirers. Each movement during the arrest of an offender – with cold or firearms – was demonstrated and explained by patrol officers using real examples.

During the practical lesson, cadets of the ERI №1 worked out the algorithm for the initial examination of the victim, assessment of injuries and actions in case of massive bleeding, as well as the procedure for providing self- and mutual assistance to the wounded in the zone of direct fire of the enemy. In addition, they mastered the techniques of firing during a sudden change in the situation.

A regular career guidance meeting with graduates of various educational institutions of Ukraine was held by Viktor SLYSH, Assistant to the Rector of KhNUIA, Serhii HIRENKO, Deputy Director of the ERI No. 2, and Tetiana KUDREIKO, Deputy Head of the course. The purpose of the event is to help future applicants decide on a professional path and make a conscious choice of specialty.
